UNIZIK Law Students Dinner...

It was a memorable day for final year law students of UNIZIK on Saturday July 8,2016 and they will never forget ...It was their fifth and last dinner with the prestigious and second best faculty of Law in Nigeria....

      These prestigious rituals have lost their essence (in Nigeria of course).

      These dinners were designed to teach up coming lawyers table manners and etiquette - black tie elegance and carriage.
      But I see a table indicative of a pig stile.

      Nigeria!!! Must we ruin everything - even when we copy????

      OMG! I need plantain leaf to cover my face in shame. Unizik law students always like to hype themselves, that was how they will not even shut up in law school with their igbotic accent. They will be the first to open mouth and english will begin to sound like thunder. Very local things.
      That was how one was arguing blindly that it is not possible for someone to buy a white shirt for an equivalent of 100k and above. I am sure she obviously thinks everyone buys China white and sow into a shirt.
      After all the hype, when it's time to make first class in law school, you won't see them.
      Na so so hype, if not that we saw this photo now, they would stay somewhere now and be calling themselves the next fashion statement in west Africa. Cheap cheap clothes, even with the economic meltdown 100 yards of that lace won't cost more than 1k, then straight to Obioma to sow then bamm to SDK.
      Abeg! Make una no give me cataract.

      You guys be nice for once. Remember these are students still dependent on their parents and guardians for a living. They can only make do with what they can afford. You don't expect them to slay like working class peeps in the business world. I say they looked good

    Prestigious and second best faculty of law where? If I hear! Faculty of law unizik is crap. Yea I said it. With their family business issue and what not. Yes I said it. I graduated from that faculty and can authoritatively say what they are and prestigious is not one of them.

    Law Students, budding lawyers looking dapper and all beautiful. But is this how final year law students should be dressed for a law dinner? This cannot happen in the law school. When law students cannot be properly groomed in the university it causes the usual culture shock in the law school that destabilise most students.

      The university law dinner is nothing like the Law Dinners in law school and everyone knows that. The work load destabilises students and not the clothing.
      Their dinner is even more suited to law school with the black and white theme.

    Dear Stella, please when is the next SNM? Can you be so kind as to give a day's notice at least? I've been a BV for two years now, unfortunately haven't been able to participate because of the 8 hour time difference and work. Please, kindly take into consideration those of us in the diaspora when planning the next one. Actually for the past two weeks I've been going to bed late and waking in the middle of the night, tracking SNM, like say na curse. Twice sef I dreamed that I missed it. Ejor make you try make we participate this time around, I know baba God go pick my call this time.
