I keep seeing this riddle thing... It is not a riddle it's wrong math... It's a wrong principle to add your balance...... It's just like saying you had 50naira amd you went to the market to buy a shoe of 30naira and you say you still have 50...you have to subtract it from the 50naira to get 20naira...you keep spending until you get a zero balance... If more money is given to you.. That is when you can add it back to your 20naira balance... Always remember that money spent is gone.. You cannot add the money spent to balance... You just keep subtracting till you get a zero balance.
ReplyDeleteThanks Zee.
DeleteIt's illogical to add your balance.
For example you have
100 spent 1 remaining 99
Spent 1 again remaining 98
99+98 is already above your initial capital.
Wrong wrong wrong to add your balance.
In the balance there is 0 n btwn 0 n 1 there is 0.1,0.2,0.3,0.4...........mpaka 1 thats where we got the xtra 1 in the balance
Delete30 + 15 + 6 = 51
ReplyDeleteOnly the balance was calculated to get the 51
See me counting my fingers...lol
Maths!!! Wher is that baseball? I need it to hit me hard.

DeleteLol. The grammar said I HAVE, not HAD. It's all in the past. So I'm assuming the person had 101 naira, and spent 50maira from it. Waiting to see the answer.
ReplyDeleteWrong wrong wrong ok... What if I spent #2, balance is 48 them I spend another #2, balance is #46 and I keep spending #2 until it zeros, will you add 48+46+44+42+...+6+4+2 and expect to get 50?you do not add balance
ReplyDeleteThis maths calculation is wrong cos ur balance and expenditure can never b d same. For instance u have #50:
ReplyDeleteSpent Bal
#2 #48
#24 #24
#24 #0
----. -----
#50. #64.......So therefore expense cannot equal balance.
Odd and Even numbers things.
ReplyDeleteThe answer is in the 15 to 15 row.
ReplyDeleteIn 30. If you take out 15 what you have is 15.
But since you have taken out 15 the starting is 16.
Its so simple. After taking out 15 what should have been is 16.
If you have doubt, why the confusion persist is that if you Multiply 15 is by 2 what you will get is 30. 15 is the only row where the two figures meet in lay men terms of understanding.
USE NUMBER LINE METHOD IN GSS ONE AND SOLVE IT.
THE TWO ROWS MUST NOT BE THE SAME . IN BASIC TERMS BALANCE CARRIED DOWN>
