Talk about having massive sales!
Can any BV in Ilorin confirm that shoprite shut its doors because its customers were too much?

Some are just there to take pictures and go jare.
Na only shoprite dey d city?
ReplyDeleteMy sister, na only shoprite oh
DeleteNa only shop rite. ..no fun spot sef....shop rite is the closest thing to having fun
DeleteEven here in kano..shoprite. ..sahad. .jiffatu and other departmental stores were full to the brim.
DeleteI needed to pick up some toiletries. ...thinking since yesterday was the last day of the 3 days holiday, those places won't be so busy..I instantly made a U-turn back home to watch movies when I saw the crowd ,even on the road..I didn't bother getting close.
Lol. Nigerian my people, am sure it's tourism most of them went there to do.
ReplyDeleteI am sure more than three quarter of the population came to buy one loaf of bread...
ReplyDeleteWhat were they buying? All these people no one carry something
ReplyDeleteYou will be shocked that more than half of this people are not going to buy anything but just came to look at the place and take pictures
ReplyDeleteEnd time Saraki
ReplyDeleteMost are just there for snapping pics and sight seeing.
ReplyDeleteLols. I'm sure some of them just went there to catch fun. Later they will start abusing ibadan people
ReplyDeleteIlorin and Ibadan, what's the difference?
Delete*too many*
ReplyDeleteIts just 20% that are there to shop.
ReplyDeleteThe rest just came to snap picture and looku looku.
Y ni?????? Na money Dem want nah
ReplyDeleteSame thing happened in Calabar on Wednesday...SPAR did their grand opening and d turn out was massive!! They had to close their doors.
ReplyDeleteMany of them are not customers jor,dey justbwan come look. I hear say dem dey hawk groundnut for shop rite warri.
ReplyDeleteWaffi na fire! Lol

Delete😂😂😂😂😉😂😂😂
ReplyDeleteThis is too funny. First of its kind over there??
A case of an 'over answered' prayer.
ReplyDeleteHalf of them were going there to steal. I'm sure that's why they closed their doors. Ahan! See the legion of people. Na wa.
ReplyDeleteIt is very very true. Hubby went to get somethings there around 6pm and he said he couldn't even drive in. It was filled to the brim. As at that time people said they had shut their doors for about 4 hours and refused to open. They even used their trolleys to barricade the doors. Despite the fact that the doors were shut for hours, the crowd refused to leave.
ReplyDeleteI guess they had to shut their doors to avoid massive theft. The most annoying part is that most of those people were there to just take pictures and leave, shoplift or buy bread.
IS Sallah Amusement Park for them ..
ReplyDeleteMost will be there for mere sight seeing.
ReplyDeleteIt is holiday, so a lot of people will be in that place. what a pity they had to shut the door.
ReplyDeleteJust like yesterday at Adeniran Ogunsanya Shoprite there, saw a lot of people, chia i say people will be complaining no money, but see as they blocked everywhere. cars find it difficult to pass self.
Na to snap picture
ReplyDeleteYeah, since on Wednesday sef but not as crazy as thursday.shopright is very affordable here in ilorin. There are other stores there like mart right, but shop right ti take over.
