Senator Iyiola Omisore's Bail Application Thrown Out By Federal High Court For Lacking Competence!

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja today Friday has dismissed the bail application filed by Former Osun State Dep.Gov Iyiola Omisore.
He is therefore to remain in custody..





Omisore was arrested in Abuja on July 3rd by EFCC and is being prosecuted over N1.3billion they say he allegedly collected from Sambo Dasuki who is also still in detention over armsgate scandal.
Omisore's bail was rejected for lacking competence.

*Please Lawyers how does an application for bail lack competence?

    I think it just means that the reasons why his lawyers asked for bail to be granted to him doesn't hold make enough sense.

    An application could be incompetent because of an error in substance or form. The lawyers made a fundamental mistake in preparing the motion for bail.
