Delete1. Yes, the family may have been emailing hospitals but they never received invite from any hospital abroad.
2. Mayowa already started receiving pallative care and her family knew within themselves that absolutely nothing could be done medically for her case. Only the touch of God could save her
3. The family still went on to source for funds for God knows what wicked reasons they had in their hearts.
4. Even at that, in her condition, she was unfit to fly anywhere, even if it were a 1 hour flight to abuja, no airline can agree to carry her.
5. Linda ikeji obviously isn't the devil in this but is completely clueless. Her words that she chose to convey the news were very cold and harsh. She could have reported in a more professional manner.

All the stories of fraud and scam and insults, if Mayowa had read it, she could have nearly died. It's possible they decided not to risk flying her to Atlanta again but Abu Dhabi because of distance and all these just happened in few days and would have updated the public, instead of the people that started spreading the false news about to really investigate and post, because a life is at stake here...just to be the first to break the news just want to scatter everything.

And in your small mind you think visa office will grant her visa. That's not how things work. Stop looking for something that does not exist. You find out the price of something, then go look for money and then start the process. That's what they did. And if you know how cancer works everyday she deteriorates.

Let's just pray you or any of your family members does not go through this. That 100k is not the end. They will end up needing more. This is someone's like we are talking about. What is money compared to a life.

My family member was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and doctors advised against aggressive treatment rather suggested palliative measures since he would die soon. Did we fold our hands and accept this death sentence? No and I thank God we took the decision to fight for his life and 2 years after, he is still with us and God has been faithful. No one should judge the Mayowa family until you take a walk on that "road".
