Shanghai Shenhua forward Obafemi Martins visited footballer Demba Ba after the striker suffered a horrendous leg-break on Sunday. The Injury is so shocking it would leave you frozen if you see it.
Ba, collapsed in agony in the 63rd minute following a challenge from Shanghai SIPG's Sun Xiang during a Chinese Super League match in Shangai.
The Senegalese striker fell down and recordings of the moment show, his lleg bone snapped and broke immediately and was a horrible sight to behold.
Ba was eventually stretchered from the pitch after a prolonged period of treatment in which the striker received oxygen.
Ba moved to the Chinese Super League side from Besiktas in July 2015 for a £12m fee after a successful career in the Premier League.
The former Newcastle frontman is still revered at Chelsea after scoring the infamous Anfield goal which effectively halted Liverpool's Premier League title in 2014.
"I just want to wish him soonest recovery , it's really painful said Nigerian forward Obafemi martins .

ReplyDeleteOk
ReplyDeletethis must be so painful....sorry bro
ReplyDeletena wa o
ReplyDeleteJesus! That's a compound fracture! Means the bone broke completely into two. A broken tibia (shin bone).
ReplyDeleteThis is bad. Really bad. This will take several months to heal, with steel rods & screws or plates that may be inserted to join and hold both bones in place for it to heal. Risk for bone infection too is so high; requiring long term antibiotic treatments. Bone infections are difficult to eliminate. In Africa bc of half way treatments, non sufficient funds on the part of the patients, bone infection or a blood clot will just kill the person. There's also risk of nerve injury, vascular injury and even failure of the bone to heal.
Not just soccer career being put to a stop, he will be dealing with occasional or intermittent pain even after healing; probably the rest of his life...risk of prescription pain medication addiction. God forbids all this on this young fellow.
I pray God to directs the doctors treating him. I pray the fracture heals. Where there is life, there is a way. He is young, he will change his career & move on.
That's why it won't hurt if one has 'a plan B' in this life. Like what would you do if....,though not praying for any life mishap.
Speed recovery
ReplyDeleteGet well soon Demba ba.
