Former member of technical committee of Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, John Mastoroudes believes the desire of the Nigeria Football Federation to hire a foreign coach for the Nigerian senior national team may work perfectly as expected only if it is the right choice.
Mastoroudes, who became a household name in the 80s when Leventis United bestrode the Nigerian football scene further hinted that the NFF must hire a world class coach , whom the players will respect.
"The NFF hiring a foreign coach depends on what the blueprint is and what we want to achieve going forward,"john said.
"If you ask me, we have good local coaches in Nigeria and there are equally good foreign coaches in Europe.
Meanwhile ,Nigeria caretaker coach Salisu Yusuf has submitted his application to head the Super Eagles.
