ReplyDeleteThe funny thing is in this Lagos, I have worked in various places, never worked with an Hausa before. You can never see an Hausa being a doctor in a private hospital, being a banker,lawyer etc. the ones in Lagos o, except d place is govt affiliated.
must of them always go for government work. If they read Banking, they will work in either CBN, Nigerian stock exchange or BOI.
If they are doctors, they will work in state hospital.
Public servant also like Nigerian Police, customs, Army, Navy. And they will hold the sensitive positions there.
Not to now talk of the NNPC, NIPEMs etc. or they will also be the ones working in our Nigerian Embassy abroad.
The average Hausa gets sponsored by his state for university, after they finish a federal job is waiting for them. Let them now read Medicine or Law. There will work with their state judiciary, before u blink an eye, they are judge.
God will save us from this lazy aboki's.
You will never see them travel out and hustle doing menial jobs, cleaning jobs, bus driver etc. just to bring capital down to Nigeria and do biz like an Igbo person. They don't know how to hustle. Hausa man in Malaysia, UK, USA, hustling. Iv never seen it.

ReplyDeleteIbe kachukwu still holds position of Minister of state of petroleum, the same position as Diezani back then. Which is number 1.
He has handed over to Baru to handle the day to day activities of NNPC. Katchukwu also sits down as the chairman of the board, the MD of NNPC is reporting to him as chairman of the board.
Let me use a classic example of FCMB.
FCMB was established by Subomi Balogun, formerly of Merchant Bank. He is known as the chairman of FCMB, he doesn't oversee the day to day activities of the bank as a 82yr old man. The MD Ladi Balogun does that.
A chairman has to approve each member of a board, chairman only comes to the office probably once a week and for board meetings. Crucial decisions and policies have to be passed through him and the board before such decisions are made.
Let's look at dis crucially, the daily job of running NNPC daily is just too much for Katchukwu to handle along with minister of petroleum of state.
I am not happy an Hausa man taking that seat again, but Kachukwu wasn't demoted plsssss. Let's leave tribalism aside.
Diezani was Minister for petroleum not a junior minister. Atleast get your facts right. Mrs everyone is ignorant
