Ile ife is the gateway to Heaven?
Excuse me oh...I dont know much about this but I LOVE GOD!
Millions of yorubas were dispatched to
Cuba,Haiti,America,Australia,Brazil,Argentina,Puerto Rico...?
I dont understand, why is the Yoruba race so vast and cuts across the World?
Where are the Yoruba's in the house? Are you from Ile-Ife?
Ok waiting for Ile Ife ppl to explain
ReplyDeleteIle-Ife ni Orisun Yoruba, that's what we were made to believe
ReplyDelete*Larry was here*
That is why d Indi Igbo people don't like us.
ReplyDeleteBut I see it more like envy. They will say Yoruba are dirty, they can't cook, they are dis and dat. Still yet you live in our lands, go to our schools, worship in our church (Redeem) sing our praise songs. Even eat at our dirty fast food ( sweet sensation, TFC, Mama Cass) yet we are dirty and can't cook.
The thing is Yoruba people are very accommodating and friendly, we receive all tribes as our own, we marry outside our tribe and majority of us are not tribalistic.
I personally have sisters, married to calabar men, Anambra men and my family has no problem with it.
I can already envisage a lot of hatred that will come on this post, but I only see if as hatred in urself. Bcos anybody that breeds tribalism and hatred actually hate their lives and keep looking for who to put their frustration on.
I love our culture, it is so rich and it is represented in lot of Afro-Caribbean culture and so many others around the world.
The ONI of Ife is doing a good job of representing our rich culture all over the world.
Ndi igbo don't like you because you lie alot gand do a lot of propaganda just the way you guys destroyed Johnathan with your lies and treachery, you guys try to Alter Benin history, are these countries really countries to envy besides the blacks there are hated and are very backwards. If ndi igbo should envy anyone it should be the whites. Go and watch documentaries on the blacks in those countries and you will be ashamed to associate with them.

DeleteChurch is for Christ not you people
DeleteNo matter how hard you try to educate them on this blog they can't change, their hatred has blind folded them. Ala le Ile Yoruba ti won ti je, ti won tin gbe ikan rere se abi won. Stella should keep posting their hatred comments against a blessed land that they have refused to vacate. Our culture is rich and we got history that the world appreciate.
DeleteThis anon sef u must be really dumb and senseless, an anambara man married ur sister and u are calling us haters?
DeleteRedeem yoruba church?

U see ur life?
My mother is from ileife so am partially from ife
ReplyDeleteIle Ife is the spiritual home at a time when all Yoruba clans became one. The Oyinbo researchers have claimed we have a history with the Nok people as our ancient art was very similar. Which makes sense because the real OYO was much closer to the North or in the North, and the whole Yoruba Kingdoms occupied a large expanse from there up to the beaches of Lagos. There were wars for years which saw different clans being sold off, reason why we needed tribal marks as they represent the different clans. So you are not sold or killed. Otherwise many were sold especially in ships to South America. I hope this helps
ReplyDeleteI once traced my ancestry parents I stopped when I heard one ws frm oshogbo...# I'm nt ready for hrtbrks.
ReplyDeleteLol. Why na? Hehehehehe.
DeleteYes, during the era of slave trade. They were sold as slaves to those countries and after slave trade, they all remained there with their generations
ReplyDeleteHmmmmm
ReplyDeleteThat means they sold a lot of their people during the slave era.hmmmm.
DeleteNo wonder all the countries are still backward, anywhere you see them backwardness reigns their.
DeleteNo wonder all the countries are still backward, anywhere you see them backwardness reigns their.
DeleteNo be only gateway to heaven, only a white man will let you know how Great God is,most intelligent race in the world.God no dey pass through dirt.
DeleteVery informative. Eye-opening and true!
ReplyDeleteYes. Didn't waste my time nor my mb!
DeleteThey were slaves who were sent to America during the slave era you forget say Atlantic near them besides most of them are Egun tribe I.e from badagry, dahomey etc, there are also loads of Africans from other tribes but you know say Yoruba like to ckaim"first to do this and that"lol most of them in those countries are very wretched and are not doing well at all so are they really people to be so swollen headed over.lol.
ReplyDeletePa ara e lori oro omo yoruba sotigbo?
DeleteAnon 16:08, I can bet the tribe you belong. You possess their xter.
DeleteYou say Yorubas like to claim and that the slaves were mostly Ogu (Egun) people. You need history lesson - go get informed. Fact is a lot of Yorubas were taken away as slaves but they have to speak for, and about, themselves when the headline is about them. Go to badagry today and you'll see some Yorubas who says they are from there cos their fathers who were taken to badagry to be sent away as slaves settled after slave trade was abolished. They are mostly from Oyo state followed by Abeokuta. Their old ones have the Yoruba tribal marks. E.g. is the Onilude family, the Fayemi family in Badagry.
Go to Sierra Leone and you'd see people with Yoruba names.
I am half Ogu and half Yoruba and I lived in Badagry for over 20 years, so I know what I am saying.
For your information all the countries in west was designed by Oyibo, any Yoruba can be in other west African countries doesn't mean anything, and yes Egun bear some Yoruba names but Yoruba feel that Eguns are mumus.all the countries you mentioned are shit holes so no one is dragging anything with you, dirty and very treacherous tribe.
DeleteEyi ga ju! Na wa o! Only him? gbo gbo e tan!
ReplyDeleteIgbo slaves were too too stubborn and proud. Infact halfor of them committed suicide before they got to America. Igbo people do not like to be enslaved.
ReplyDeleteNo mind them, don't you see they are Hausa slaves.
DeleteExactly, your head is there...
Delete"Nobody" can enslave us
That is why d Indi Igbo people don't like us.

ReplyDeleteWon ni ran. They have no lineage to claim so pity them. Awon omo aloruko ma loriki.
DeleteIs slavery part of promoting your tribes? If you people are so whatever then make the move an leave Nigeria.Parasites!
ReplyDeleteHonestly dnt lik doin religious or tribal argument. Let's celebrate our strength nd forget our shortcomings my dear igbo nd south south friends
ReplyDeleteThe yoruba Myth is a very complex one. There are different phases to this story. However it is generally agreed that Oduduwa was the great father of the Yoruba race. Some of the yoruba historians said he was from Mecca, another set said Egypt why the rest said he came from Heaven.
ReplyDeleteI will start from the least. When God wanted to create the earth he sent different group but they all failed on the assignment. Following their failures, God sent Oduduwa. He gave him 3 items- kernel, sand and fowl. To run this assignment, Oduduwa came down to earth with a very long chain because the whole earth was water. So the first thing he did was to pour the sand in the calabash on the water. Then he placed the hen of the sand and it started scattering and spreading the sand across the water. And lastly he he planted the kernels. To get trees. So that's why the Yorubas believe that the dawn of the day usually come from Ile ife. Stell the story plenty ooo hope you go fit run the series if I send it to your mail. Don't mind my errors pls. Jesu Olugbala
Am proud to be one (omo odogbe)
ReplyDeleteThe Igbo has no lineage. No culture and hence the bastard behavior. We have historical facts with artifacts to back it up. Even the younger generation Igbo hates themselves and land so much that their educated guys are marrying Yoruba girls. And they run to Yoruba land cuz their land is red .useless and very infertile. It's do terrible now that they ate getting married in Lagos. Who does that
ReplyDeleteIts our custom in Nigeria. To do traditional wedding in the brides hometown. But the Igbo's in Lagos are so ashamed to take their spouse yo their land. They refuse to develop it. Very backward and infertile. Their girls resort to prostitution while the men onto drugs rituals. 419. Contraband. Counterfeit drugs and all. The educated Igbo guys are breaking away from the curse Of marrying Yoruba girls. To the okroroko sellers and ugwu sellers that want s to reply me. Fuck you. Stinky breath. I dare you to post madam Stella. The truth is bitter.
Yaraba people na only mouth una get nothing else...
DeleteWho told you that out lands are not developed?...have you been to the eastern states before?...Mumu!...
The Lagos you people are claming is no mans land...oh yes!...that's why we igbos won't rest untill we buy everything from your people...
Mark my words,we will soon take Lagos state from you people and send you all to your dirty Ibadan!...
I will reply you wella when I wake up,make I sleep first...
The queen and the boss of this blog" I second you..
DeleteAnd hey orkelewa if you get mind go to any eastern state to buy or develop any property or land.. u no fit because una no reach..
Nobody can enslave an igbo man that's why we are buying out ur dearly beloveth lagos away from u and then we will turn u to a slave in ur own house idiot.
Yoruba for life.
ReplyDeleteQueen halitosis you are just pained because the Yoruba men you chase and offer your free pussy to will not touch you with a barge pole no matter much you beg them to fuck you. You are a dirty street dog even rejected by Igbo satans. The day you decide to take over Lagos is the day you will all be wiped out in Nigeria. Don't sit on blogs and make mouth.. put it into action. Biafra will be nothing compared to what will happen to you.
ReplyDeleteThey had an organised leadership strata, that's why they can trace their lineage. No need for tribalistic comments, we already have much to deal with without having to add more complexities.
ReplyDeleteBring it on. Bitch. I await you reply. Dirtymongrel.
ReplyDeleteOf all igbos what is the statistic of just that one Anambra man mumu. Because one Anambra man married a Yoruba woman doesn't mean igbos don't hate Yorubas. You hate Yorubas and you are very jealous and envious of them and all they do.
ReplyDeleteYoruba Kingdom was encompassed of Nigeria, Benin Togo, sierra leone and let's not talk of what slavery did to break us apart. Now Yoruba has been so fragmented, that it takes the great efforts oba His Imperial Majesty, Oba Ogunwusi to put things right and wake the consciousness of his people up.
ReplyDeleteFor those who don't know what he is doing, they are quick to criticise, let him do his work.
Buy what? Your one bedroom renting apartment. Can't stop laughing. Do your likes buy property? You rent a bedroom which 200 people from your village lives. Dirty poor hungry fleas. Disgusting peeps
ReplyDeleteHehehe on judgement day all of you will answer for your tribal tirades.
