  3. That is why d Indi Igbo people don't like us.
But I see it more like envy. They will say Yoruba are dirty, they can't cook, they are dis and dat. Still yet you live in our lands, go to our schools, worship in our church (Redeem) sing our praise songs. Even eat at our dirty fast food ( sweet sensation, TFC, Mama Cass) yet we are dirty and can't cook.
The thing is Yoruba people are very accommodating and friendly, we receive all tribes as our own, we marry outside our tribe and majority of us are not tribalistic.
I personally have sisters, married to calabar men, Anambra men and my family has no problem with it.
I can already envisage a lot of hatred that will come on this post, but I only see if as hatred in urself. Bcos anybody that breeds tribalism and hatred actually hate their lives and keep looking for who to put their frustration on.
I love our culture, it is so rich and it is represented in lot of Afro-Caribbean culture and so many others around the world.
The ONI of Ife is doing a good job of representing our rich culture all over the world.

Ndi igbo don't like you because you lie alot gand do a lot of propaganda just the way you guys destroyed Johnathan with your lies and treachery, you guys try to Alter Benin history, are these countries really countries to envy besides the blacks there are hated and are very backwards. If ndi igbo should envy anyone it should be the whites. Go and watch documentaries on the blacks in those countries and you will be ashamed to associate with them.

Stella should keep posting their hatred comments against a blessed land that they have refused to vacate. Our culture is rich and we got history that the world appreciate.

  5. Ile Ife is the spiritual home at a time when all Yoruba clans became one. The Oyinbo researchers have claimed we have a history with the Nok people as our ancient art was very similar. Which makes sense because the real OYO was much closer to the North or in the North, and the whole Yoruba Kingdoms occupied a large expanse from there up to the beaches of Lagos. There were wars for years which saw different clans being sold off, reason why we needed tribal marks as they represent the different clans. So you are not sold or killed. Otherwise many were sold especially in ships to South America. I hope this helps

    2. Anon 16:08, I can bet the tribe you belong. You possess their xter.
You say Yorubas like to claim and that the slaves were mostly Ogu (Egun) people. You need history lesson - go get informed. Fact is a lot of Yorubas were taken away as slaves but they have to speak for, and about, themselves when the headline is about them. Go to badagry today and you'll see some Yorubas who says they are from there cos their fathers who were taken to badagry to be sent away as slaves settled after slave trade was abolished. They are mostly from Oyo state followed by Abeokuta. Their old ones have the Yoruba tribal marks. E.g. is the Onilude family, the Fayemi family in Badagry.
Go to Sierra Leone and you'd see people with Yoruba names.
I am half Ogu and half Yoruba and I lived in Badagry for over 20 years, so I know what I am saying.

  19. The yoruba Myth is a very complex one. There are different phases to this story. However it is generally agreed that Oduduwa was the great father of the Yoruba race. Some of the yoruba historians said he was from Mecca, another set said Egypt why the rest said he came from Heaven.
I will start from the least. When God wanted to create the earth he sent different group but they all failed on the assignment. Following their failures, God sent Oduduwa. He gave him 3 items- kernel, sand and fowl. To run this assignment, Oduduwa came down to earth with a very long chain because the whole earth was water. So the first thing he did was to pour the sand in the calabash on the water. Then he placed the hen of the sand and it started scattering and spreading the sand across the water. And lastly he he planted the kernels. To get trees. So that's why the Yorubas believe that the dawn of the day usually come from Ile ife. Stell the story plenty ooo hope you go fit run the series if I send it to your mail. Don't mind my errors pls. Jesu Olugbala

  21. The Igbo has no lineage. No culture and hence the bastard behavior. We have historical facts with artifacts to back it up. Even the younger generation Igbo hates themselves and land so much that their educated guys are marrying Yoruba girls. And they run to Yoruba land cuz their land is red .useless and very infertile. It's do terrible now that they ate getting married in Lagos. Who does that
Its our custom in Nigeria. To do traditional wedding in the brides hometown. But the Igbo's in Lagos are so ashamed to take their spouse yo their land. They refuse to develop it. Very backward and infertile. Their girls resort to prostitution while the men onto drugs rituals. 419. Contraband. Counterfeit drugs and all. The educated Igbo guys are breaking away from the curse Of marrying Yoruba girls. To the okroroko sellers and ugwu sellers that want s to reply me. Fuck you. Stinky breath. I dare you to post madam Stella. The truth is bitter.

You are a dirty street dog even rejected by Igbo satans. The day you decide to take over Lagos is the day you will all be wiped out in Nigeria. Don't sit on blogs and make mouth.. put it into action. Biafra will be nothing compared to what will happen to you.

  26. Yoruba Kingdom was encompassed of Nigeria, Benin Togo, sierra leone and let's not talk of what slavery did to break us apart. Now Yoruba has been so fragmented, that it takes the great efforts oba His Imperial Majesty, Oba Ogunwusi to put things right and wake the consciousness of his people up.

For those who don't know what he is doing, they are quick to criticise, let him do his work.
