      I don't agree, it depends on the context of the text.

      'Staff' is a collective noun and it means 'a group of people working together', so it's safe to talk about the 'staffs' of various politicians just as it's correct to speak of various teams in a football league.

      Still debatable tho...Use of English has always been controversial. Thanks.

      @ PIPI LEE, I understand your line of argument based on different groups of staff. It is quite tricky. But let's use other examples collective noun in this context. Let's say a jailer with so many Bunch/ Bunches. It is tricky. Staff of let's say 5 different politicians. You have 5 different groups of staff.

      @ Anon, that is not true. The "incubus and Succubus" which is a superstitious phenomena used by lay men to refer to a medical condition called SLEEP PARALYSIS actually occurs more when you lie supine (ie when you lie down with Your back facing up). People are usually advised to lie on their stomach or sides to reduce the incidence.

    That's my best sleeping position, I sleep on my stomach cos it helps me stay warm and some kind of sense of protection that it gives. Been having pains in my neck, lower part of my back and shoulders and was advised to start sleeping on my back; so, for some time now, I've been trying to stop and sleep on my back but I can't seem to kick the habit. Some nights, i try for hours to fall asleep on my back but I still wake up on my stomach in the morning but I've been able to fall asleep on my back, which I think is a good step forward.
    Does anybody have a way they may have kicked this habit?

    Sorry for the epistle? Not sure if it would have made the 'Doctors in house post'.

      Yes, sleeping on the back can result in result in long term effects on the spine but don't expect to see changes overnight, it will take time.
      Try getting a therapeutic pillow, it's shaped to make sleeping on d stomach impossible.
      You can also try placing a pillow on both sides of you to prevent you from turning over.

      The funniest part is sleeping on your back actually induces bad dreams/sleep paralysis. The best sleeping posture is sleeping sideways.

      Thanks. Just how can I get a therapeutic pillow? I try sleeping on my side more often now, it's better than on the stomach but not the best unless you are pregnant according to experts.
