Doctors in house news is still here oh!!!
OVARY CYST
Hello,
I have a sister who is 25yrs that has been having ovary cyst for 4 years and has scanty menstruation and doesn't ovulate at all.
This year alone, she has seen her menses only 4 times this year , she went to the clinic to see a doctor last week and the doctors said she should wait till when she is married. She has a very serious guy that may tie the knot with her at most next year.
Please doctors in the house, do you agree with the gynaecologist's verdict cause I am so worried for her??
Honest answers from professionals,please.
regards
God is still in control

ReplyDeleteOMG This is serious
ReplyDeleteAre you sure she went to a gynaecologist or a chemist? How a gynaecologist will say such still amazes me. Go to another gynaecologist please, except the former is the only one in your village.
ReplyDeleteShe is right. I leave in Europe country I meant a gynaecologist I have same issue as her's that is the same thing she told me. I am trying to have baby now. I have to go back to her
DeleteDear poster, take your sister to a good gynecologist! Most times, ovarian cyst is removed via surgery if it gets bigger but if not, it can be treated with painkillers. Tests have to made to find out what type of cyst, the size and treatments start immediately. Luckily, most ovarian cyst are benign so let your sister see a good gynecologist.
ReplyDeletePoster don't be offended o, but is your sister at a healthy weight?
ReplyDeleteI have a friend that has similar issues but she was a bit heavy size 16. She was also TTC.
Doc advised her to change her diet, and start exercising. She also cut off sugar completely and lost abit of weight.
Withn a yr her period became regular and withn 2yrs she got pregnant.
Na just suggestion o. Pls tell her to cut off all sugars and exercise, let her do it for 6mths. You may never know it may help. No harm in trying smthn.
Send me a mail u need to visit my gynecologist she's wonderful. Ihuoma.uzor@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteThe doctor has spoken wait till she gets married.if pregnancy occur u will not bother about it but if... then seek treatment
ReplyDeleteThere are different types of ovarian cysts. It could be an isolated cyst or even polycystic ovarian syndrome. The doctor you saw is obviously not a gynaecologist because what you have is symptomatic and watching waiting is not the way. You need to see one as soon as possible so that you can be properly investigated, diagnosed and treated.
ReplyDeleteYup. Wait. She may just get pregnant on her own.
ReplyDeleteAs long as she's sees her flow, she should wait till she's ready for kids before treatment.
ReplyDeletePls tell her to get apple cider vinegar with the mother. She shld take a tablespoon in a glass of warm water first thing in the morning and at night. She should take it religiously for three weeks. The cyst will disappear. She she do a scan after three weeks of taking it to confirm the dissapearance. I'm talking from experience cos that's what I took and it truel works.
