University Of Benin's Dilapidated Optometry Department

This is a big disgrace to the University i graduated from!!!
A big disgrace to those in charge at the University of Benin!!!
A big disgrace that a University in Nigeria looks like this!!!
TUFIAKWA!
Please if you are connected to the lazy powers that be at UNIBEN,make sure they read this report and the comments that will follow....

The sender of this memo says ''Our 500level class is gushing out water,
We swim everyday in the class...
The pipe developed a fault and the department hasn't been able to do anything about it and we are receiving lectures inside the class as though it's a normal occurrence ,We aren't even supposed to be receiving lectures in a lab of all places.
The lackadaisical attitude of the department is hurting the students more and more everyday.
We need help ,We can't go on like this''.

What a shame...GREATEST UNIBEN MY BIG FAT BUMBUM!

  8. Oh my!

And this is supposed to be a lab?

    A whole Federal School?

    Somebody, shoot me please...kikikikikikiki!

This is hilarious. So, if a lab looks like this, what will the classrooms look like?

    * smh *

I attended a Nigerian uni, and never did I see anything as disgusting as this. And to think that the floors are tiled.

Why then can't they maintain it?

    Na wah!

  15. Dunno why maintenance is a big deal in schools but if you don't pay your fees they won't let you write exams yet you can't see you the evidence of what you are paying for.

  20. I really did not want to comment on this but whoever took this pics should have said the truth though. This incident happened just yesterday, this is not a lab but the optometry workshop of the department of optometry. University of Benin. A tap was left opened when there was no water running the culprits most of the time are the students happens a lot of times if it happens during the day then someone can easily put it off but if it happens at night then its going to run throughout the night and what you meet in the morning is this. Lectures could start so early preventing the cleaner from cleaning up the mess. We had seminar in that workshop today and it was dry. There is and was never a bursted pipe. If a 500 level student put that up then that student has lied seriously and should apologise seriously. Its a shame that its own student trying to get recognition or whatever would do this. This would be taken up in the department come Monday. Please let us learn how to investigate before we put up information for all to see.God bless you all.

  22. So they can't hire people for a day per week to clean these classrooms? After all the school fees the students pay, they still have to deal with bad education and dirty environment
