    Talented singer, songwriter and producer Babatunde Okungbowa popularly known as OJB Jezreel has died. The music maestro, who was flown for a Kidney transplant in India in 2013 and was said to be doing well, had a relapse about two weeks ago and was kept on daily dialysis before his urgent need for oxygen yesterday. Unfortunately, he didn't make it. He died early this morning June 14th at Isolo General Hospital in Lagos.

    He is survived by three wives and many children. May his soul rest in Peace. Ame

    OJB JEZREEL has gone to be with his creator....been battling with kidney for long. May God rest his soul and i pray he gives Korede one of his wives the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. My condolences to all concerned too. SAD

    Stella I just saw dey said OJB jezreel.... I hav heard that people that go to india for treatment do get better but always have a relapse sooner or later. May God gv d family d fortitude to bear d loss. I am beginning to think it's better ppl seek treatment either in Nigeria or better abroad(America,UK,Germany e.t.c.) than India.

    Ojb Jezreel. So sad. The kidney failed again. I a, on;y happy that he was able to survive the transplant then and at least spent two years with his family. I am still trying to get over a friend I lost due to kidney failure. Hers was so bad that no donor was even available at that time. Very young girl. It is well.
