Then who's responsible for this?
ReplyDelete*Larry was here*
So this form existed/exists. Ewo!!!
DeleteWell, this is not a retract per say. While they disassociate themselves from this particular style of donation, which albeit strikes like it is compulsory, they are also saying givers should use their discretion.
DeleteI don't think the zonal pastors usually consult with the headquarters on how they should accept offerings in their churches.. so this pastor didn't think this was an exception. I say this because they said "the pastor didn't have their approval".
I just don't like it when a part of the church makes the entire body seem like rogues. It's always a difficult task thereafter to convince the general public that those who default do not necessarily act on behalf of the entire body of the rccg.
I was hoping this would be a fake though.
Story
ReplyDeleteOf course they would, imagine attending a dinner with the daddy
ReplyDeleteG. O,they asked US to pay 30k each to attend after me and my 3sisters got the card Coz, each card allows just one person.
We didn't even they the CHANCE to see him one on one,THEY HAVE SOLD TO THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE, the place was so crowded that was how our 90k got waisted and they told us that were are blessed to be under the ministry ion of daddy G.o.
But was that what we paid for??
Some pastors under him are milking people and is so unfair I am very sure he is not aware of all these things.
I have met him one on one with my family when I was 10years old.
I know of so many people that man has helped, there was a family friend that had cancer he struggled to see daddy G.o for a miracle but not only did he pray for him but gave him check of 4m to go for the operation so I know that man is kind and is not aware of all these rubbish.
Day out with Daddy GO has never been free and GO is aware of it.
DeleteIt's done in all region.
Blame the organisers in your region. Ours is well organised
A day out with d God of d G.O is daddy GO's personal program. This is organised once a year and d essence is to raise funds for the Holy Ghost Congress which holds every december. Now the RCCG is a ministry which runs on principles. The G.O cannot even use church funds for his personal program, hence the need to raise funds for it. Having said that, the 20k you pay is just ur contribution to the program. You can imagine the harvest of souls, healing and miracles usually recorded.
DeleteWell said Lafresh. We paid less than 30k
DeleteLafresh your church na thief them be shut up you fool
DeleteMine was 20k.
DeleteNa only you pay 30k, exaggerator oshi, hiss Hian
DeleteYou are so right. Some so called pastors have used this man to milk people dry. There was a time some were collecting money to book appointment to see the G.O, which he wasn't aware of. They had to make a public announcement to warn people from paying for such.
DeleteMoney making......
DeleteThe church is really a thriving business venture. But this is actually the case in some churches, it can't be denied. Bunch of thieves and deceivers.
ReplyDeleteMy own is why put a price on the giving.
ReplyDeleteGiving comes when there is a prophetic message on seed sowing to break into a new level.
Anyway it is well jare. I dont know what to say again.
May God help all
Kai
ReplyDeleteTold you guys Daddy G.O was not aware of this
ReplyDeleteIf I hear.
ReplyDeleteI guess you didn't read the letter. They didn't deny it, it was from them
ReplyDeleteMute.
ReplyDeleteThis is so wrong, sacrificial giving with a price tag, this pastor should be suspended. He is a subordinate to the authorrities of the church if he acted on his own on this mattet after all its the banner of the church he is hiding under.
ReplyDeleteStory..because it casted
ReplyDeleteWhat's the difference?
ReplyDeleteHmmmmm!!!
ReplyDeleteThat form is funny
ReplyDeleteMen of God deceiving gullible pple . May God have mercy on dis so called men of earthly things that preach what God did not say.
ReplyDeleteI knew it. RCCG can't be a party to things like this. Yeye scammers.
ReplyDeleteMy dear they are a party to it. The tone of that letter up there is not condemning but rather explanatory. They are basically saying...we are not forcing anyone to give. Pentecostal churches? Smh
DeleteYeah yeah.
ReplyDeleteKnew it..
ReplyDeleteAny form of manipulation cos dat is what dis so called men of God do
ReplyDeleteI knew it was all fat lies.
ReplyDeleteThis form MIGHT not be from them, but what they do in that church is not far fetched...
ReplyDeleteAbeg!! That form is true. My younger brother is a student in Leads, he went to church for the first time in his life and decided to go to redeem only for the pastor to demand/command that the congregation cannot give anything less than 50pounds for offering. He called me to ask if it was possible for a pastor to do that and I said "that is wrong, you give what you have and it is God who blesses the givers not the pastor. Lol, all this new generation churches
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. Went to a parish of RCCG and the pastor specified what amount to drop as offering . From N500 and above. If a person does not have nko? The church needs to take responsibility, a pastor speaks on behalf of the church.
DeleteThey did not deny, Stella. Read their statement again.
ReplyDeleteStella please read their report well well
ReplyDeleteThey didn't deny that the form is not from one of their parishes, in fact they actually said the pastor of that particular parish did so without their approval and then they stated if anyone should give to this particular project, they should do so but not if they were compelled to.
To me it is the same thing, the pastor used a method they say they don't approve of but they didn't outrightly dissociate the church from the so called approach.
Naa Wah!
Giving is an act of God. Jn 3:16. God gave his only son Jesus Christ for the remission of the sins of the world. Giving must be cheerful, willing, sacrificial and acceptable. If your giving is not done in joy it may never be acceptable no matter the amount.
ReplyDeleteYour giving is not about the volume but COST. David said i will not give God what has cost me nothing.
Remember the widow gave her little but Jesus acknowledged it as the highest at the time.
Man naturally is insatiable, stingy, selfish and does not know how to give.
IT IS THE HOLY GHOST THAT EMPOWERS ONE TO GIVE.
But HOLY GHOST can empowers you to give. The Holy Ghost helps you to give by convincing your spirit man and when you give in joy, the blessings that follow is immeasurable.
Ps 126:5-6 They that sow in tears shall reap in Joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, BRINGING PRECIOUS SEED (GIVING), SHALL DOUBTLESS (MUST) COME AGAIN WITH REJOICING, BRINGING HIS SHEAVES(PROOF/REWARD OF THE FAITHFULNESS OF GOD AT YOUR GIVING) WITH HIM.
So always ask the Holy Ghost to help you to give. it is still better to give than to receive.
AM SURE YOU WOULD RATHER BE GIVING TO SOMEONE THAN TO BE BEGGING TO BE GIVEN.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

The denial doesn't make any difference coz this is what they do in all the mega churces in Nigeria and RCCG is no different. These yeye churches make alter calls separating people depending on how much millions they are giving. They group pple due to their class and the amount they are giving, so is they any difference? Why is there so much classism in these churches if they are serving the one true God and not just running a business venture like they are doing? Don't RCCG do sacrificial offering and always insist that u must give what would cost u something?
ReplyDeleteAbeg let them swerve jor
Haba! English language is a simple language yet pple have refused to understand it. Stella they did not deny it. From their statement it is it came from one of the branches of RCCG but that the pastor acted on his own without permission and approval from the head quarters.
ReplyDeleteThey did not deny it ooohhhhhh! Read between the lines, read to understand.
ReplyDeleteGod pls save your children
ReplyDeleteIt is true, they have that form not only that parish,it is in every of their branch even the branch i attend they does the same thing
ReplyDeleteIt is true, they have that form not only that parish,it is in every of their branch even the branch i attend they does the same thing
ReplyDeleteGood for them
ReplyDeleteStella did you read this disclaimer at all? They did not deny it was from them, they only watered it down in order to avoid a tonguelashing from the public.. What a pity!
ReplyDeleteWhat in the world is the response back from RCCG bikonu????
ReplyDeleteWhy not distance yourself from such a behaviour! God is not a poor God, he has never and will never ask for minimum payment before he blesses us!!!!
My gosh! This is upsetting. My dear Nigerians, this is why you need to worship God and God alone. Build a relationship with him, do not place any man on a pedestal before God to avoid being misled!
Ooh by the way, I attend Jesus house in London so I attend RCCG but this is just off-putting! I was expecting a better statement
"God loves a cheerful giver" like really though????
Yayy my fellow JH member. Pastor Agwu my main man. Lol
DeleteWhat will Jesus say to all of this, how much did he charge to be with people? It is sad to see that his house has become a den for thieves..
ReplyDeleteWhen the white missionaries manipulated Africans with the bible we complained, how said it is to see that in the 21st century, it is that black man manipulating his own people in the name of Jesus.
ReplyDeleteVery very interesting
ReplyDeleteHope the pastor of the parish is sacked with immediate effect. #ReligionIsPolitics.
ReplyDeleteThey admitted though not with their approval. Which kain sacrificial sacrifice of wetin. Inukwa. All these churches.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a problem with pastors and churches collecting money from their members but what do they actually do with all the money? With the high poverty rate in the country. I've never heard that RCCG are involved in widespread charity outreach.
ReplyDelete... If money is the root of all evil, why do they ask for it in churches?????
ReplyDelete
