  25. Congrats Osas and hubby.

I am currently pregnant ,first semester. I am suffering from early morning sickness and nausea. I hate everything etable. When will this be over? DH is head over heels with joy ready to provide everything I need but this nausea wouldn't allow me to share in this happiness. I don't also want my co-workers to know that I am pregnant until I get into my second semister......I doubt if this will be possible..Any tips on how to manage this situation? God bless you all

    1. Even though you don't feel like eating anything it's very important that you eat something. The nausea is worse on an empty stomach. So try not to have an empty stomach. The first trimester is really a mess but you'll feel like your normal self once it's over. Am currently in my second trimester so I can imagine what you are going through. All the best

    2. Ginger helps, so maybe try ginger biscuits or ginger tea. Try not to get too hungry like Ebere above said as nausea is worse when you have an empty tummy.

Basically try to eat when you can take even if it's soup, ice cream, yoghurt whatever but ginger should help. Gods blessings

    5. You can "hide" it very well. I have first class in it.

      Follow these tips.LOL

Just like Ebere typed, never allow yourself get hungry. Nibble on food,biscuit...take a lot of water.

For the nausea, always leave a tiny bit of bitter cola hidden in your mouth, don't chew, just lick it.

Always put up the brightest smile, don't b caught yawning or looking sick. Hahahahaha

This is the time to up your makeup game, try your hardest to look really nice. Fix or braid your hair. Do not leave it ruffled.

Don't rush to wear your maternity cloths, still rock your nice corporate wears but avoid very tight ones especially around the belly area.

      Don't be caught napping. Hehehehehe

Control your longer throat, don't "chook" eye into people's meals.

Try and avoid walking like the world is about to crash, remember to take your hands off your belly, tis difficult but try.

I usually hold it together in the office, then when I get home,i scatter bodi, let the petting begin. *shines teeth*

With these tips ehn,you can be well into 5 or 6months before someone suspects anything. Goodluck!

  27. Pregnant anon, congrats. By the time you get to 2nd 'semester' the nausea ll greatly reduce or be gone completely. 1st semester is the hardest phase but pregnancies are different.
