Gender equality isn't about marriage. Gender equality is about women fighting to be accorded the same respect and treated no differently than a man is with respect to various issues. For instance why a girl wont be sent to school but her brother would be. Why a lady cant rent an apartment of choice just because she's female, why a woman wont be promoted when due at work just because of her sex. Thats what we're talking about.
