  1. There's unrest. None academic staff (NASU) on strike. Only PG students and Jam bites are around. I pity the freshers tho. The strike is just a rumour, not yet official.

  6. Well, NASU is the cause. They said the VC's appointment didn't follow for process. I just don't understand that school and its internal crisis. It used to be the best Federal University but I can't even say that again.

  7. Maynne, has the education sector broken down completely or what?

It's up to, or more than ten schools presently on indefinite strike, if I'm not mistaken.

Seems the endtime has really begun in Nigeria, before the rest of the world.

  9. Yes o madam Stella, I am currently in O.A.U. The NASU and SSANU workers were not taking it lightly at all. They are having vigil tonight, putting on white tomorrow n sweeping the whole school. The reason I heard is because the outgoing VC is owing them and he is not interested in paying them.

  14. I entered OAU in 1989 Dec and graduated in 1997 with not even a C once (no carry over) throughout for a 5 years programme -7.5 years.

No thanks to ASUU strikes and Students' unrest.
