    1. The creeks of Niger Delta is a mangrove swampy Forest. I know an oil worker who swim very well but was swallowed by the swamp at the bank oo. That's the same fate Biafran soldiers had during the civil war.

    5. Liars!!!! They did kill those soldiers. Very heartless set of people, DH works in the rig, they had to use flight instead of boat this time around. The other coy who used boat, theses avengers surrounded and shot both the soldiers guarding the boat and innocent workers on it that were going back to work.

    7. From what I heard from someone who is on ground, the soldiers that were deployed to guard the pipeline did nothing whilst 2 of their boats were taken by the militants who invaded them from underneath the water. They later released the boats and asked that the military go and pick them. It is true that they didn't attack the army, they made it clear that they did that on purpose and could have attacked them if they had wanted to. Thus, sending a note of warning to the presidency that they are still in charge.

My first question was, what were the military with their full glory and armour doing when these boys seized their boats? I suspect that they didn't want to fight them back because they know it would have been a disaster if those boys who know their ways around the creek were to attack the army. They have an advantage of the territory I suppose.

The militants even boast that they have more sophisticated weapons than what the military are equipped with. Meaning? They also warned the president not to step foot on their land tomorrow o.

So what is the Nigerian government and security agencies doing about all these trouble? I think the president should just postpone his trip abeg. Smh

    1. I will be forced to believe this, amphibious training has to be a yardstick for selection for this kind of mission.

Nevertheless, NDA should realize that blowing up pipelines destroy the ecosystem. The common man rely on it for survival.

    3. What entitlement?? The amnesty programme is still on, they have the NDDC and ministry of Niger delta to cater for their needs, their states gets the highest allocations, so what are they actually fighting for?? They're blowing up pipelines and damaging their already damaged lands.

    4. Aboki, go and prevail on boko haram to stop making refugees of your kinsmen and forget about pipelines and environmental pollution in the ND.

    3. Lol. But it was like movie trick. It is common sense na, the militants have an edge over the military because they operate under water. These boys can survive laying a siege for them underneath the water for more than 24hours. It's their 'natural habitat' and the encroachment will not work. They'll just blow up the army boats from beneath.

They know these things, how do u fight one who is under water and u don't even know where or how to find him? E don dey resemble action movie abeg

  15. Hahahaha.so now they are gradually retreating.I can sense fear from what i read above. This so called Niger Delta Avengers should allow peace to reign and woe betide the shylock that will be found responsible for sponsoring and aiding them. Nigeria, is going through a difficult situation right now due to global oil price fall and this nitwits are busy making the situation worse by bombing oil Riggs and pipelines, knowing fully well that oil is Nigeria main source of income economically, thereby increasing the hardship of Nigerians including the poor and innocent Niger Delta people? Infact, this is a senseless act that lacks direction.

Prayer for Nigeria in trouble should be started again in our churches as it was during Abacha regime.

  25. I repeat Nigeria never appreciates their own military. Imagine leaving your family at home to fight for a country that doesn't care, see the way LINDA SDK stated nonsense up there. The stories i hear from war zones is that, these terrorists are surrendering, that they run when the Army comes to town. I even know soldiers that their bullets never missed a target, and i hear stories of how they chased shekau into the forest, irrespective of his scary & fierce convoy. God bless the Nigerian Army. Just that Niger Delta Bush no be here ooooooo, they should deploy Ijaw soldiers to that region and they will win. Ijaws tie the legs and hands of their babies and leave them to either float and swim in the river, they do this even when the child is 1 week old. If the child begins to drown they save him, and try the next day until he is perfect in swimming, their old belief is if a child cant swim, then he is bad luck.
