New Militant Group Emerges,Demands Niger Delta Republic;Vows To Bomb Niger, Third Mainland Bridges

A new militant group, Asawana Deadly Force of Niger Delta, ADFND, has emerged in the Niger Delta region of the country.

The new group has threatened to paralyze the oil industry across the nine Niger Delta states unless the Federal Government granted them, “Niger Delta Republic in the next couple of days.”
ADFND in a statement by its leader, Commander Olomubini Kakarakokoro, a.k.a No Mercy, said that, “Except our demand for Niger Delta Republic is granted, without further notice to the Federal Government, we shall proceed to bomb Bonga field flow station, Asaba- Onistha Bridge, Third Mainland Bridge and other major bridges in the Southtern part of the country, just for a start.

“The Federal Government should as a matter of urgency, withdraw all the military check points from the riverside areas of the Niger Delta, else we shall proceed to match against any military formation in the region without further notice.
“We are most dreaded, deadly and dangerous group in Niger Delta. Our team is comprised of specialists in different fields of war, and is poised to win the struggle for a Niger Delta State. Our struggle is not for monetary benefit or the so-called monthly N65,000 amnesty stipend. It is for the liberation and the development of the Niger Delta region.

“We therefore, warn every other group or persons as regards the fake dialogue process embarked upon by the Federal Government to know that they are not doing that for us. We are taking over from our brothers, the Niger Delta Avengers.

“As we speak, all preparations and plans are on ground to strike and bring down the crude oil production to 0%, irrespective of the of the military presence in the region. The Federal Government will hear from us.”

*These militant groups should take it easy on Nigerians and stop destroying things because their actions is fuelling the sufferings of the masses...FOR CHRISTS SAKE they are not even united amongst themselves...WHAT IS ALL THESE?

    4. Mrs hot ice don't bother yourself trying to reason with queen and boss, James, mao akhun, Dan emmanuel, trinity and other elements like that. You can only reason with people who choose to be reasoned with. They'll come online and complain about hardship while praising those who're adding to their hardship. Most of them are just trolls, e.g James who is a self confessed troll who just seeks attention while the others are hate filled individuals who have more in common with the devil than humans. Save your breath.

Note. Is it any coincidence that these hateful, crude and uncouth individuals all seem to come from one part of the country?

If they want to give these militants what they asked for, I will change to their country mbok. That's where there is money in this country. They generate so much money for the country and enjoy so little. Hausas generate so little and enjoy so much. Infact i support this move. Yorubas will soon come here and cry foul meanwhile they are neither here not there. Yoruba if I were you, I'd pick a stronger side. Stop supporting Hausas, they have no respect for y'all.

    6. I live in the Niger Delta area and I can tell you for a fact that their actions is based on greed and need to avert the consequences of their corrupt acts. The complain of lack of development yet these oil companies pay the communities a certain amount annually. We were paid 13% derivation from oil(which some selected few share amongst themselves). We have full scholarships from all the oil companies (if you qualify) , we have NDDC scholarship etc. Our leaders in the Niger Delta region both past and present are more concerned about looting than development. Most of the communities would purposely burst oil pipelines so they can engage in bunkering. The truth is, we cannot apportion the blame for the demise of our region to the federal govt, when much was given to the region, it triggered oppression from the said Ijaws.
The bombings have been causing serious hunger in the region and these so called militants are not phased by it cos at the end of the day, after they settle with the govt, the other tribes in the region would be left hanging. The govt should not negotiate with terrorist because that is what these militants are and they do not represent the views of the region.
And Mr President should not stop his fight on corruption in this region.

      Delete
    7. But our federalism is a joke. Someone up there is talking of solutions. Did buhari tell u he wants solutions?
Did they not have a sovereign national conference where APC tried to disrupt. The conference though tainted like every other thing in the world, even the Brexit, was succesful. The report given was the mind of the people.
Buhari came in and threw the report away, blocked all the good agricultural projects, banned everything, silenced everyone and you expect peace and good economy?

How many visits has buhari paid to the so called troubled region? You dare talk about constructive criticism.

      Delete
    8. Anon 11:43 the same number of visits Jona made to Maiduguri at the height of BH problems.

    9. Anon 15:43: but jona visited north east and the north. Has your man crossed river niger after the elections. King in the north indeed

      Delete
    10. Anonymous 11:43. I'll have to agree with u on the Confab matter. I think Buhari's cabinet members are just being too lazy to read through the 600 paged resolve that came out of that meeting. It has been repeatedly said that all the solutions to our issues are in that folder. There's nothing too voluminous about a 600 paged booklet. Even if it is, by now they'd have finished reading though if they started since last year. As those that were present at that conference are the best brains Nigeria has ever produced. Buhari should treat that file instead of creating another cabinet which will cost the nation extra money. A huge sum was already spent for the last conference, which the outcome has not been treated till date. So we don't want another conference.

  14. A lot of people are laughing and saying they should go on because it doesn't affect them. Or so they think. This up there is the word on the streets over here. The 40years contract the naija deltans had with Nigeria expired in 2000. This movement began in the 90's, and they killed Ken Saro Wiwa and others. This whole drama is the fault of the Britons now they are silently watching. God save your people and bless Your heritage

  19. This is becoming ridiculous, I am from the Niger Delta region but am no longer finding this sane.

Why don't we start with our leaders who squandered all the money that was for the development of our region.

Those ones who steal our money to enrich themselves and their families.

How can we win this battle when all groups are fighting for themselves and what they stand to gain for their pocket.

We need to flush out the saboteurs among us first, else i see fighting us for nothing.

    1. If you don't know, the motto of your region is "stealing is not corruption" so as far these militants are concerned, your leaders have done no wrong.

Those who fail learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Remember this, just like south sudan, if you guys get independence, your region will be ruled by militants. They'll be killing each other and fighting over power and it'll eventually reach a point where you guys will start eating human due to lack of food to eat. Exactly like south sudan.
