ULTRASOUND VERSUS GUT FEELING

Good day Stella

I don't quite know where this falls in but I just want to ask fellow bvs I'm pregnant with my second with my first I had a deep feeling it was a little girl besides I wanted a girl so I wasn't surprised when the scan said "Chica" I felt it in my gut. Now with my second and my gut says boy but the scans (3 actually) says girl but I don't feel like I'm having a girl apart from the fact that this pregnancy is so different from the first (I have no morning sickness not one single complain I eat I've never thrown up I'm so active and strong ).

 I just have this very strong feeling it's not a girl in fact I'm so hung up on my gut feeling that at 32weeks I haven't purchased a single baby item I can't just buy girl stuffs I don't know why, with my first at 24weeks I was done shopping with every pink and purple I could find. Did any BV go through this? Was your gut right over the ultrasound?

POST PREGNANCY BELLE

Hello dearest Stella.

 Please I just want to ask mothers in the house to tell how to make my belly flat, I gave birth 6 weeks ago and my belly has not gone down completely, I am still looking 4 months preggy to add to it I have dark stretch marks from pregnancy too.

 I couldn't afford a post partum girdle as advised by someone so I bought a regular girdle but I am not seeing the result I want and it's very uncomfortable too, I go for jogging in the morning if my baby is asleep, I am still not seeing anything significant. Please mothers how do I shrink this pouch I am carrying, I can't wear a fitted dress with this belly, I want to continue my shakara biko and this tummy is standing in the way of it. I don't want to take any slimming whatever so it doesn't affect my baby because he is on exclusive breast feeding.

 Hi Stella! Good day., I  don't know where this fits but please help post it ‎, might be of help to someone (it's a long post actually). Please hide my identity.

    I'm a 27year old young lady, working in Lagos.

 Mid last year I accepted one Mrs Joy Okonkwo's request on facebook( I don't normally accept strangers on facebook) but since her profile claims she is a teacher in Owerri and my mum is also a teacher in the east, I thought maybe she knew me through my mum(said I was gonna ask my mum when I travelled for last year Christmas but forgot). We didn't chat much and I forgot all about her till last month when she chatted me up. Claimed she has been sick and I didn't bother checking on her, of which I apologised  and asked after her health. She went ahead to claim she wanted me to get to know  her 45year old  cousin based in Saudi Arabia bla bla bla... told her I wasn't interested but when she persisted, I decided to play along. When I asked if the said cousin was on facebook, she said he is but has deleted all his pictures because of the lady she told me about, that his barrister advised him to do so., mind you this woman never told me anything concerning any lady(maybe told the story to someone else)

    To show how dumb he/she is, I flared up at a point and asked her if she thought I was daft, a friend told me not to flare up yet but play along, I told her the message wasn't meant for her and she actually believed that. When she requested for my phone number,  I suggested she give me her cousin's no instead which she did, (+966567706491)the phone no when checked on True caller actually is from Saudi Arabia under one Arab name. Wanted to continue playing along but my boss( a young lady as well) advised against that, she suggested I ignore her to avoid getting myself into serious trouble.

 I don't know if this person "Mrs Joy Okonkwo" is a woman or man, but I think maybe someone or some persons are using her pictures for fraudulent acts on facebook., and they have gone international, hence the  Saudi Arabia phone no ..

    Please my fellow ladies, be wary of all these online match makers, the economy is already bad and getting duped again is really messed up!!!
