Maureen Onu, A Finalist For This Years Miss Tourism Nigeria Event Billed For 9th July In Lagos Passed Away After A Brief Illness In The Early Hours Of Thursday Morning Last Week.
Speaking On This Loss, Mr Santiago Roberts, CEO Of The Miss Tourism Nigeria Organization Says The Brand Has Lost A True And A Great Gem; Maureen Was One Of The Brightest Who Was Always Prompt To Carry Out Instructions/Tasks Giving And Willing To Learn; She Was Looking Forward To Representing Her State With Pride During This Years Finals And With The Hopes Of Becoming The First Ever National Tourism Queen From Ebonyi State.
Mr Santiago Also Said, This Year's Miss Tourism Nigeria Despite All Areas Of Production Having Been Settled,
The Organization Will Redesign The Content and Production And Dedicate The Show To The Memory Of Maureen Onu (Miss Tourism Ebonyi 2016).
Nigeria And The Pageant Industry Has Truly Lost A Very Precious One.
