  19. Yes,its true.Same thing happened to me in my neighborhood in Festac,2nd avenue ,very close to BIG FISH or Winnies Restaurants..There is a new Chinese outlet,I Went there with some friends and to our amazement we were told the place was only meant for the Chinese, that Nigerians or Blacks are not allowed. It was really embarrassing, but in other not to create a scene,we had no option than to leave.

    1. U had no option than to leave? In Festac? That people will back you guys up if u decide to react? Ha!

    2. Seriously, I wouldn't bother to react too. The Chinese are behaving like that because they know they can buy off our police. Na our police go even beat you up for going to the Chinese restaurant or shop.

    3. Well-Guest Chinese restaurant, same owners of Oasis bakery at festac, well they didn't turn us back, but the Chinese lady who relays the orders to the chef, said they should give us Nigerian menu, incase we don't understand their food and my friend fired back saying "if I wanna eat Nigerian food, will I come to a Chinese restaurant, don't I know where to eat Nigerian food or we look like money miss road" the waiters were quite courteous but barked on and commanded like slaves by the petite manager who was boozing on Heineken nonstop. We had 2waiters attending to us,while a Chinese couple who ate hours unending from lobsters, seaweed soup to noodles had 4 waiters at their beck and call, practically wiping off food from their mouth,I was pissed to say the least, young waiters being talked down on,they were even scared to collect tips.my friend ensured he disturbed them, teased them, abuse them shege,we laughed so hard that day,the manager knew we were throwing jabs at her,she felt so restless. Food and serving was Ok,but we are sure not visiting there again, before we are insulted and it will become something else.God knows the undercover activities happening inside the so called "karaoke rooms".

  22. Say what?! If this is true then this supermarket needs to be SHUT DOWN! What is the meaning of this? Sometimes na the likes of Mugabe fit these people. Rubbish

  23. If this is true, he should be worried about what they've got to hide not why they didn't let him in. He should report to the SSS and Ministry of trade and industry.

  24. Nigeria na wa! like the Chinese can ever allow a firm to do this in their country. Why are re-colonizing ourselves?

    ReplyDelete
  25. Of course is true, this has been going on for long in Nigeria.
The problem is, if you refused to leave, they will call Police same Nigerian as you to arrest you. The police will be the ones that will rough-handle and embarrass you in their presence.
These foreigners treat us in diaspora as third class citizen, they will still go to Nigeria and treat Nigerians as second class citizens even with the help of others Nigerians.
    Is a big shame.
