Former Customs Boss, Abdullahi Dikko, Confesses To Owning Properties Worth $50m In Dubai

Former Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Customs, Abdullahi Inde Dikko, has reportedly owned up to having properties worth $50m in Dubai alone, according to Nigeria anti-corruption investigators currently in discussions with him.

Mr. Dikko returned to Nigeria looking gaunt and frail after he was declared wanted by the Nigeria’s Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), reportedly suffering from prostate cancer said to be at the terminal stage. Investigators said Dikko has vehemently denied owning properties anywhere else in the world except a huge house in Abuja and a multi-billion Naira farm in his home state of Katsina.

A source involved in the negotiations said Dikko was not arrested and hurled into detention because the authorities are worried that if harshly treated, he might die in detention, which might it harder to recover his assets from Dubai.

It would be recalled that a few years ago, this website called Mr. Dikko a certificate forger, and ran several stories to that effect.

All of them will reap the fruits of the frustration they put people through at the airports. Amen.

    3. And those ones you mentioned at the airport are NDLEA , SSS, and all those desperate QUARANTINE officials of which I don't know there main job at the airport. All these agencies disguise and claim customs. Any customs levy everywhere is paid into government account with no cash at hand involvement. And whoever ask you for cash is doing so on there own. So stop saying what you are ignorant of. Check the uniforms well , customs uniform is pure grey with green or white beret . So if anyone stops you at the airport and demand cash look at the badge well and ask for your DN papers. Pay to the Nigerian government account. Don't pay to individual account.
