FALLING PREGNANT.
Kudos, you are doing a great work. Admire your blog style it really covers all areas.
Please help me ask my follow blog visitor especially those that suffered PCOS, how they managed it and fall pregnant. I'm on a silm side, my cycle is very regular. Just that the follicle does not mature is the problem.
What can I do to ovulate. Have done everything as directed by my doctor all to no avail. The scan shows tiny follicles that are not matured.
Any suggestion of a very good Lagos based doctor that can handle such case.
Eeyyaahh

ReplyDeleteIt is well with you poster. I think change of diet(little or no bread,no white rice)etc are some of the things PCOS pple should stay away from. Also, some doctors suggest Clomid but that is also followed with constant monitoring to see how the egss are maturing.
ReplyDeleteThe hospitals I know in lagos are a bit on the high side. May God answer you speedily.
Pray for God's blessings
ReplyDeleteKpele dear. Olive branch clinic in lekki is a good place to start.
ReplyDeleteHi dear. No hope lost poster.
ReplyDeleteTake loads of vitamins(vit E, folic acids, evening primrose), eat healthy, Exercise lightly. Do as your doctor says.
I am living with PCO but it didn't stop me from getting pregnant though it took a while, a little over 2years. The month I got pregnant was the same month my IVF circle one treatment was to start.
One thing you should know with PCO to always keep track of your circle (know when you ovulate each month).
God will heal you
ReplyDeleteHello Bv's has anyone used Fibrofit and what are the results
ReplyDeleteBeen having ovulation problems too. But my God is bigger than every problem. learnt about Evening primrose oil which has GLA. started taking it last week and i noticed a difference in my cycle. In addition, i take garlic on an empty stomach every morning with water.give this a try...it will end in praise.

DeletePoster, you can try Joas medical center. They are somewhere around ikotun. Google them for d exact address. Heard they are quite good.
DeleteHi poster. I was diagnosed with pcos eight months after my marriage. I m also slim and my period was fairly regular, just that I had polycystic ovaries and wasn't ovulating. My doctor treated me with injectible gonadotropins to help me ovulate. Its an injection I took for five days and some ten days later,I had two very mature follicles. I ovulated and got pregnant that same month with a single baby. You can also try clomid to help you ovulate. What I think will be best is for to work with a fertility doctor or gynaecologist for effective treatment. Its not really a big deal. I also had some hormonal supplements to help balance out my hormones.
