Buhari Off To London For 10 Days Rest Medical CheckUp..

President Buhari will begin a 10-day vacation to the United Kingdom beginning from today Monday.
Femi Adesina, Special adviser to the president on Media and publicity, confirmed this in a statement issued on Sunday.

Four days ago News cropped up that the president was seriously ill but the presidency insisted that Buhari was hale and hearty.

The statement reads: “President Muhammadu Buhari will take 10 days off and travel to London on Monday June 6th to rest.
During the holiday, he will see an E.N.T. specialist for a persistent ear infection. The President was examined by his Personal Physician and an E.N.T Specialist in Abuja and was treated.
Both Nigerian doctors recommended further evaluation purely as a precaution.”

With this, Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo would step in as the Acting President within the period of the President’s absence.

So nigeria doesn't have the necessary requirements and specialist for MR PRESIDENT? He has to be flown abroad for bed rest. Really? . In this same country where they said 'there is no money'? God. I give up on nigeria. Get well soon MR PRESIDENT.

  3. Too many lies. So no hope for a poor man to get good medical attention in this country if our leaders are all running out of the country to seek further assistance on their health.

    OYO to everyone.

    1. My dear, its a shame that our presidents and first ladies run to other country to die. I have been No 1 in the campaign for better health care in Nigeria, especially after the Ebola saga. The poor man has no hope indeed and our healthcare is a trainwreck waiting to happen. We cant survive a plague here. We cant.

The level of indiscipline, short staffing, lack of true professionals. The very good doctors run away from Nigeria because theres nothing to gain here. You cant get anything on merit here. Theres politics amongst doctors, d CMDs, nurses, pharmacists. Govt hospitals, so much embezzlement and silly mistakes. Understaffed. The private hospitals-no enabling environment. U burn fuel from morning to night, the govt still taxes u, so you resort to fake diagnosis, placebos, inflated hospital rates, fake call for caesarian and operations to meet up. No health insurance for the common man. People prefer to take agbo and die than go to hospitals and wait and wait and wait.

And why is it so? Cos our elites know they can always travel out when the going gets tough. What has the govt, past and present, done to improve health care? They dont suffer it, do they? But they forget that if youre walking in a market place, dont throw stones'.

This trip Buhari is going for will require serious money. If he claims its not a solely medical trip, then he should tell us how many annual leaves/vacations he will take in a year. He isnt going to take bus to the UK, will he? Its still the private jets, huge hospital bills, huge money spent. Estacodes. Foreign currency from the CBN. But he's good at castigating others.

Then theres the case of the lies his aides tell.
I have a huge problem with hypocrisy and I see a lot of it in this govt. I see no changes. Just liars.

    1. ...That the health sector is noting to write home about.
... That our Medical Team that spent over 7years to study medicine don't really know what they are doing, hence can't treat Mr President.
...That instead of developing the health sector adequately and efficiently its better to FLY outside the country and let the health sector rot away

    2. You should read before commenting sometimes....an ent specialist has attended to him here. it's probably beyond his scope...why do we pretend like we're not a developing country? madam cissy....is developing our health-care an overnight thing? So if u had an opportunity to treat urself abroad,u'll wait nd develop ur health-care 1st so u acn be treated in Nigeria..... oponu too much for this blog!

    3. @ anon 12:06, I read the write-up VERY well, yes I accept am 'oponu'(in your own words), but I won't accept that in the Whole nigeria NO E.N.T Doctor can treat Mr President right? Haba!
Anon, please when last did you visit the hospital? For how long will they continue flying outside for medical check-up?
