''Hey Stella / Blog visitors,

   It started as a simple lower abdominal discomfort, or so I thought... I decided to take medications for pelvic inflammation, only for the symptoms to continue (I even started feeling bilateral masses in that area). This prompted my going for an us scan.

  Bang, I saw the technitian's facial expressions that's when I knew there was trouble. My goodness, It turns out I had bilateral endomrtrioma( Part of the condition known as endometriosis.

 Endometrioma is a type of cyst formed when endometrial tissue (the mucous membrane that makes up the inner layer of the uterine wall) grows in the ovaries. It affects women during the reproductive years and may cause chronic pelvic pain associated with menstruation.

 Endometriosis is the presence of endometrial glands and tissue outside the uterus).

To cut the long story short, surgery was scheduled and the surgeon 'confirmed' that the 2 ovaries were damaged and had to be removed (or bilateral oophorectomy). I cried, called on God not to forsake me...

   Lo and behold, after the surgery I was made to know that my ovaries were not taken out (even the doctors could not understand how they had been 'repaired') . They exclaimed at the miracle!.

I really thank God because he's a miracle worker, the one who sees and knows all. 

  I know this is just one of my numerous miracles to come.
