Subsidy Protest Photos..

Hmmm for the first time in History (that i know of Oh)Nigerians have disobeyed the Labour union by going to work instead of staying at home...

Asaba protest photo

The NLC though fighting for one cause is divided against itself and their plea that Nigerians stay at home today was somewhat DOA!
Anyway, some states managed to carry out a protest and had it photographed for you to see....Next time better planning with Love and Unity will make it work.

BENIN PROTEST..

ABUJA...dividedly protesting oh

  1. Since it's divided, I dunno if they will continue coming out everyday.

  2. Then I pity Nigeria, we will soon become a One Party State, no strong opposition to tackle the ruling party

    1. Abeg leave them o. Every one with their peculiarity. Even market women opened today and I was so delighted because I needed to buy stuff for my kid in school. Infact market everywhere was quite normal. How would they feed if they don't operate? As for workers, what if their salary is revoked due to their absence? Who'll compensate them? Na so o

    2. Big lie. Nobody has any money to bribe anyone. If money was surplus why would they be protesting? Forget that in this administration o. Even ministers have not been paid a dime since they started work. Where dem wan see the money?

  8. Why are these people wasting their time?
Buhari won't revert to the old price! He won't even acknowledge that you are protesting, he's not Jonathan!!
So why bother yourselves?? To Buhari, he is doing us a lot of good by removing subsidy on petrol.. So let's just keep praying that the 'good' is worth it

  9. Government will settle labour leaders later while the poor masses will remain suffering. So why should we join labour????

  14. I don't think this protest will have any effect on Buhari. He is a sadist and he wants Nigerians to be miserable!

  15. Mtcheeeewwww.....wasting of time and strength.

  16. This can show you how biased some people can be. In 2012, most of them politicians that championed Ojota rally are now clapping and hailing Buhari for removing subsidy. What is happening in this country tire me, even to protest sef,it is a divided house. Buhari God will soon deal with you.

    1. I'm surprise pastor Tunde Bakare is quite

Just lose my respect for him, hypocrite

    2. If u are disappointed in Bakare, what about Oshiomole who has always kicked against this subsidy removal right from when OBJ was in government? During Jonathan he mobilised El Rufai and co against the same move.. but now he sees reasons with the present administration. I've been saying it from the onset that the greatest hypocrite in governance is Adams Oshiomole. He remained a formidable albatross against every govt in power when he was the labour leader,.but all that has changed.

Although I agree they should remove the subsidy once and for all and deregulate the whole thing. But I choose to highlight Oshiomole's flaws in the midst of all. He is more concerned about getting a juicy post after he leaves Edo state. Moreover, he's trying to get a puppet as a successor to continue with his governance in Edo. Oshio is one of the richest governors in Nigeria today. Matter of fact, he's among the top 5 richest govt officials. Please quote me.

  17. The truth is that everyone is tired and suspicious of those that claim to be fighting for us.I work in a manufacturing company that has not produced anything for two months due to dollars scarcity and the company is still struggling to pay salaries, why will i sit at home and join one yeye labour that did nothing when state workers are being owed salaries, when electricity tariff was increased, when the senators bought new SUV after monetising the vehicles, and we still don't know how much they earn.Am i going on strike so that Dino Melaye can buy petrol for his fleet of cars or so they can follow saraki to CCT trials. Abeg i no fit shout. APC IS DOING WHAT THEY DID TO LAGOS, KILL THE OPPOSITION AND TAKE CONTROL OF THE PRESS.

  18. who strike epp? endtime strike according to one trillion ....NLC trying so hard to remain relevant in dis current society...strike was so oshomole's era..not now jor...i dey work oh...i nor fit for their no work no pay policy...if i nor receive my pay how wee i chop? lol...

  19. No protest here o, I was praying and wishing no work today so that I can rest. But this town is so not serious.

  20. Nigeria needs an opposition party devoid of former pdp looters. Buhari is indeed a dictator.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Apc owns the press, judiciary, economy, leadership. Labour. The masses are helpless.

  22. smh..divided we fall

I don't even no why people be keeping their mouths shut now that e don reash Buhari turn...we are too weak in this part of the world.. everybody dey fear him head..na wa o

    1. Yes of cos everybody they fear bcos their hands are not clean

  23. Some bread winners have not been paid for over 3months, every damn thing in the market is EXPENSIVE! NO LIGHT, FUEL IS 145 PER LITER, transportation is on another level, NLC called for strike and workers were warned that if the miss work for a day...... No pay!
How come Nigerians believe that a military dictator will change his true colors over night? Why will a man that old still want to rule Nigeria? He has they greatest ideas? Why did he impact all the great knowledge into a younger candidate? A nomadic fulani can't stay in a place for too long. There's a need for movement hence the frequent travels. Change is here to deal with Nigerians. APC were more ready for war than they were ready to rule. A few months to election, things will get better.... But not be deceived and, campaign strategy! Stay strong my people

  24. NLC too get their own problem and people no longer have faith in them.
