I dont know why and the sender did not clearly indicate why they are protesting,does anybody know?

Delete2016 batch a stream 2 has been postponed indefinitely, hence the protest. These are people's lives nysc is messing with.

DeleteLike seriously the protest is neccessary.... For how long will NYSC keep PCM's at home, some resigned from the job they are doing hoping to serve the nation only to be told they can't go any longer. If the programme can't be sustained anymore let it be scrapped.

DeleteYesso they are stream2 batch A members who are supposed to be in camp now but no! They kept postponing the date and even made it indefinite. Ignoring texts and calls on their social medias.. So we decided to take it to the streets. Now I m glad they have been answered and by next week God willing we will be in camp. Nonsense!

ReplyDeleteHonestly..I still believe that 1 year of youth service is a huge joke and a waste of time..when I think of the joblessness that's paramount in our society I thank God Corp members can still expect that 19800 though it's a pittance ,it's better than nothing.
Some people don't get mobilised on time,adding that to this kind of delay is a waste of time multiplied by 2..Those who plan to apply for jobs virtually anywhere can't because nysc discharge certificate is a prerequisite.
I pray whatever is causing this delay is rectified on time so they can move on with life
Stella, the protest is for NYSC to give us an authentic date for our camping... They have posted us enough... Camping dates have been constantly changed since March.... They should give us a specific date

If you Know how much the government releases for camp food, accommodation and full Corp members kit ehnnn, you go ask wia d money dey enter. Nigeria needs serious deliverance session aswerigad!

DeleteNYSC has postponed the orientation date for stream 2 batch A for more than five times, and the last one they postponed it indefinitely... We re at home while our fellow bstchmates are serving... The protest is for them to send us to camp so we can do this and leave wen others re leaving
