Nothing much has been heard from talented music artiste, Chinagorom Onuoha aka African China in a while.
The singer, famed for phenomenal tracks such as ‘Mr President’ ‘If You Love Somebody,’ and ‘Crisis’ went under the radar after he was embroiled in a rape scandal in the United Kingdom about 10 years ago.
Though he has released some songs after that ugly incident, they did not record the kind of success his first tracks attracted.
Vanguard reports that The Ajegunle-born singer has however decided to tow a different path business-wise. He is now the proprietor of a hair salon known as Chyna Town Unisex Beauty Salon, which is located at Festac, Lagos.
Here is wishing him all the best in his new line of Business.
Eya!

ReplyDeleteEverything has time. These ones time is over in the Nigerian music industry. They can never keep up with with the likes of Wizkid, Davido, Korede Bello ETC. Same for the likes of Baba Dee, Azadus, OJB, Sasha, Eedris Abdulkareem, Blackface etc. Their reign is over. It's good that he has started something new rather than to continue wasting his time like others.
ReplyDeleteOh I just Remmember rhymzo with the long afro locks! Where is he now? The guy dat sang, rock and roll, dat song was a hit way back oo,
DeleteI love that rock & roll with its old school vibe. Rhymzo is soooo talented! Goes to show that it takes more than that to make it in anything.

God wld bless his hustle. This is a hard working man,how can u open ur mouth and say bcos d wife sacked him he became jobless. Irritating. This man did not start to hang arnd studios's and popular muscians to look for hand outs he woke and realized life has to go on. I married my hubby not bcos he is rich but bcos he doesn't hv shame when it comes to hustling. He wld not mind carrying concrete to support his family. Bcos of him,if s chips are down I won't mind giving him all my support. He is a hard working, selfless man. Ladies dt is d trait u shld look for in a husband. Sum 1 who doesn't hv pride and has a sense o dignity in labour. African China as long as u don't smoke anything more than weed, more blessings to ur business. I am proud of u.
ReplyDeleteA good woman
DeleteDis guy is doing very well ooo I ff him on ig and he ve bn promoting his salon on his page. He ain't doing bad at all.hard working young man
DeletePls who knows where his salon is?? I live far from festac but I love me a man that hustles. There is dignity in labour. I would pick a legal hustler over an oil and gas guy that depends only on salary. You can never own a job but you can own your business even if its just by the side!
ReplyDeleteAna kan ko wo ja (different routes can lead you to a market). Bottom line is to discover an honest means to make money. All the best to him
