Fastizers Food and Confectionery Limited is a rapidly emerging Food Manufacturing Company.
We are sourcing for an experienced Procurement Manager to be responsible for the supply of raw materials and services essential for our company’s operations. The successful candidate will strategize to find the most cost effective deals and suppliers. The Procurement Manager’s role is to discover the best ways to minimize our Procurement expenses so that the company can invest in its growth and people.

Job Title: Procurement Manager

Reports to: ED (Operations) 

Responsible for: All purchasing related activities 

Functions and responsibilities 
1. Forecasting levels of demand for services and products to meet the business needs and keeping a constant check on stock levels; 

2. Conducting research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality; 

3. Liaising between suppliers, manufacturers and relevant internal departments. 

4. Identifying potential suppliers, visiting existing suppliers, building and maintaining good relationships with them; 

5. Evaluating bids and making recommendations based on commercial and technical factors; 

6. Negotiating and agreeing contracts, monitoring their progress and checking the quality of service provided. 

7. Processing payments and invoices; keeping contract files and using them as reference for the future. 

8. Forecasting price trends and their impact on future activities. 

9. Developing an organization’s purchasing strategy from analysis of purchase history; 

10. Producing reports on purchasing activities 

11. Ensuring suppliers are aware of the organization’s purchasing policies and procedures 

12. Attending meetings and trade conferences and to upgrade exposure in the industry. 


REQUIREMENTS
  • A minimum of BSc/HND degree in supply chain management, Purchasing and Supply or Business Administration
  • Proven working experience as a Procurement Manager
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market
  • Talent in negotiations and networking
  • Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
  • Negotiate with external vendors to secure the most advantageous terms
  • Experience in collating and analyzing data
  • Strong leadership capabilities.

We currently deliver in bulk to hotels and restaurants early in the Morning.  We also do deliveries to individuals during the day and do events such as weddings, business functions etc. I am looking for a responsible driver to deliver the juices early in the morning to my customers and run a few errands during the day. He will represent our company in a professional manner. He will be prompt, well dressed at all times and must have excellent written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities:

1) Deliver goods to our clients location
2) Maintain and operate delivery vehicle
3) Complete logs and reports
4) Pick up raw materials from vendors
5) Run other errands as determined by the MD.

Requirements

1) The candidate must be between 30 and 40 years old. 
2) Have a valid drivers license. 
3) Must be willing to resume work at 5.30 am daily 7 days a week. Working hours on Sundays will be one hour (5.30 am to 6.30 am).  Working hours for all other days are 5.30 am till 2 pm.
