      Gawd!!! I love that captain Phillips huh. His acting was so on point. My best part was "look at me, I'm the captain now" and the part he asked if he looks like a beggar, and captain Phillips expression was like "hell yeah, u look worse than a beggar". I died dere. Lmfaooo!!!

    That first picture is so true... There was a Nigerian movie I saw one time "Mission to nowhere". Ms. Adams gave the priest information during confession that if revealed would have sped up the process of nabbing her killer...
    After I saw this movie, I tried to relate it to real life and I wondered if the situation had become dire, would the priest still have revealed information about her killer?

    That Catholic Confession fact, I Have always wondered at it o. Wondered o but never questioned o.

    Confessions!
    Sometimes I catch myself comparing my sins now and the sins of my youth and I just SMH. Then,it didn't pass eyeing someone,being disobedient or disrespectful. LOL
    As an adult now, confessions can scare me eh! Dat was in the past though. I used to dodge the Reverend Fathers that "know" me. But sometimes u know,one can't help but confess to them. You come for confessions and the two or three priests conducting Confessions are the everyday priest u "know"
    I literally faint and wake up. I always wondered what they thought of our sins. Especially when I have one "heavy sin" to confess.
    My good mind tells me "Just go. God is with u. He understands you at ashamed and that's perfectly normal. But never u hide your sins. While my baaad mind silently screams " Confess fire!!! Confess to watching Porn??? You wil be the next topic for Sunday sermon . Better swallow that sin my friend"

    But at the back of my mind,I hear my Faith telling me "It's a sin when u consciously avoid confessing your sins during Confessions. Remember God came for sinners..."
    That's all I need. I just lock up,determined to make a good confession and happy I have shamed the Devil ,walk straight to the Rev Father,kneel down and start praying for Forgiveness " Father Forgive me for this is the 20th Confession I am making this year....

    I am much better now. Infact sometimes when I miss Confessions,I walk into the Church and ask for a private one.

    May God help us as we strive towards Perfection through His Grace. And may His Grace never depart from us, Amen.
