Comedian Seyi Law Responds To 'Slapping Security Man Allegation And Apologises...

The Comedian allegedly gave three hot slaps to a security man a few days ago HERE
Well he explains what happened and apologised but I think to really correct this he should reach out to that man he slapped and let us know that he has made peace.....Three slaps was way to much for the security man's alleged utterance and action.

It's left for the guy he slapped to forgive, forget and move on.

    6. He should personally apologise to the guy. Slapping a full grown man thrice is just wrong.

      Delete
    7. he has apologised ..yea , however he needs to seek the security guy out and apologise to him first, that was assault...violence. by the way is that how you slap your wife when you are upset

      Delete
    8. Oga seyi, in a civilized setting what u do is go straight to the management and make a complaint. Park your car there and go straight to the management. They would hv suspended the guy or even sacked him because the job situation now in Naij no easy. People will take his place sharply!! So, apologize to the guy so he can tender his apology and management can caution him.

      Delete
    9. Seyi will get away with this! This is Naija. More celebs will slap people and get away with it. Working people. Cut the next waiter a slack. The Security guy. Etc.
We are where we are by grace. Security man shouldn't have been rude, but his frustration is understandable. However is Seyi's lack of patience understandable? The damage to his brand nko?
I won't be booking a comedian for instance who slaps people around, because it won't be funny when you book him and he slaps you thrice just cos he was provoked and it's okay to be violent.

      Delete
    10. Why is everyone saying Seyi should apologise? What I would like to see right now is the security footage to know what exactly happened. I don't think anyone should hit anyone else just for being rude but if you're first rude and then try to break somebody's leg while trying to get out of his car on top of it, then you deserve more than 3 slaps abeg. Now the thing is, we're not yet sure which version of the story is the truth.

    3. Is it just me or didn't Seyi also say the guy slammed/close his car door back on him thereby hitting his leg? That action can escalate any situation. Seyi has given his consent on social media for the hotel to release the video. That's what I would like to see now to know whether Seyi na liar or not

  5. He should just go to the man and apologise plus send footage of him apologising. Even the footage of the guy hitting him the door or I don't believe him. What nonsense anger? If reverse was the case, you would have seen all his colleagues litter all social media with rubbish. Nwokem gakwuru onye nche ahu, sekpuru ani yo ya ngbahalu. 19. I knew that Seyi Law must have been unduly aggravated. But he should learn to tolerate the nuances of all these so called security men who dont know what they are doing.

I drove to FIRS Ikoyi last week, the security at the barricade stopped me as expected. He says oga where are you going? I said FIRS. He says to do what? My next question was, what do they do there?

He flared up, started to hurl abuses at me. He said open your booth, I opened it. He checked it, still insulting me, he opened the barricade.

I didnt condescend to his level. Imagine a professional like me condescending to argue with a security guard. So Seyi law should learn to tolerate them more for the sake of his image. The security guard has nothing to lose, but may wish to bring seyi law down just out of spite.

    Lesson learned.

  22. Errrrr.... Ok so he reacted to the car door bn kicked against him. And he was already agitated by the hot exchange just moments earlier.
    So essentially he lost control.....

Ok.we all make mistakes but pls don't hit a fellow man. Nor woman. Dis is beyond slapping this guy but something deeper and u know what I mean.
If dat was an Army guy would u have reacted thus?
So u see? It wasn't just about loss of control but u felt u could "show him" u felt he was beneath u.and the "how dare him"

Pls reach out to him and apologise.
I am sure this wil end well for u two.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Exactly, it wasn't necessarily about anger, more like he wanted to oppress the man. He dare not try this with someone in the same class or on the same level with him.

    2. Thank you, wch he was aggravated. Kmt joor. All dese ppl can b rude no doubt but na insult fit dem pass. Wch 1 is slapping d guy 3 times bcos u r who?

The door hitting his leg isn't the issue here because he was already on his way out of the car to slap the guy for him to have opened the door, the guy trying to shut the door might have even been a reflex action to the sudden opening sef.

Above all, the guy said, "dey go", that one na insult?
Should he have said, "No go"?

All these yeyebrities and their God complex.

TEACHER: Can you stop MTN from sending you some irrelevant text or stop STV station from displaying evil programs or stop a bird from flying over your head?
    STUDENT: (laughs) that's impossible sir!
TEACHER: But can you delete those MTN messages from your phone, change the TV stations or switch off the TV and Stop the bird from building nest on your head?
STUDENT: yea! Yea! Very sure sir. Nice illustration sir.
TEACHER: As long as you are in the flesh carnal, filthy and unclean thought would come but just as you can delete those MTN messages and stop a bird from landing on your head, so you can RESIST THE DEVIL AND THOSE THOUGHTS.

  37. You had to be insane to react without provocation Seyi.

Most Nigerians starting from security men ooh,V.I.O, Army,Police, street hawker, traders, men and women in suit are generally violent with words and actions.

Unfortunately you messed up and this dude intends to milk it(rightfully so).

See,he has been "tearfully" recounting the incidence since it happened. You gave him power over you.

Orubebe got nothing on him. Better look for him and sincerely apologise. He knows the tricks of of trade and I know dude ain't vulnerable. 3 slaps no be Joke!

  43. those security men can be rude at times...some people be like ehhh if not for wat is, I would not be here, why take the job then?..as a guard you just need to be polite to people no matter what..I do not think these people undergo customer relationship course when they are employed.

you cannot hit me with the door of my car and expect me to be quiet! al of you coming here to say what he did was wrong, na you people go do worse...you never know when that sentence that can trigger your anger will be made ,we all have that hormone...there is that part of the brain that triggers anger(cant remember now).Though the ability to control temper is very key. and for you that mentioned that seyi and his wife is TTC, you just made that sentence to remind God of their predicament.
