    1. Yes, and he makes sense. I honestly don't have anything against the pastor that gave out cars because I'd be elated if I were one of the benefactors. However, I agree with freeze that some pastors can be misleading, and because some people have a lot on their plates, they become too blind to see or turn a blind eye to it.

    2. Marriage without findings to know if the man has relationship somewhere? That's why I like the Catholic Church and the "bans of marriage" idea. Could it be that nollywood actor, Solomon?

    3. The big cars goes to the already established Nigerian actors cos they can easily afford the cheap ones. If u want to give Bill Gates a car gift, u won't give him Volks Wagen Golf2.
Plus if Freeze was one of the benefactors he most probably won't be saying this trash! Instead he's be praising the pastor for being different

    5. The actors and actresses he gave the cars to, do they attend his church? How many of his church members benefitted from this giveaways? Or he just invited benefactors from outside while his church members clapped their hands and congratulated them?

The money spent in buying those cars plus other gifts is quite alot. That his church must be a money making machine.
      Or
The cars were donated by church members?

Hhhhmmmmm... Anyway happy belated birthday sir!

  8. I Have one question for fab mum .. The voltron for iginla the moron . How does gifting g wagon worth 46 million NGN , benefit the kingdom of God , how does it glorify God ? How does it win souls ?

Yes you said he gave to the orphanages , but do u know he gifted widows -deep freezer , please why Ddnt he think of giving that widow the G wagon? 47 million NGN would go a very long way in her life too ..

Jide Kosoko and co Wld now use the car to chase girls , pls tell me how that has glorified God . He might even sell the car and use the money not to glorify God either . Infact that car would cause him to have pride etc .

Yes YOUR MOG, gave to charity , but he could have done more - used the money to do so much more . I pity the people that attend his church. no it wasn't his money u gullible trolls , it was your money - your tithes , offerings , first seeds and etc he used to manifest his stupidity

Because I can't believe God spoke to him ? To use 47M each for Gwagons for nollywood actors and co .. People that take the role of jazz men in movies ... How does that glorify God ? I ask again . My heart is bitter .

No difference between himself and COZA overseer that threw a lavish birthday for himself in Dubai .

    Men of God indeed !

    1. You just hit the nail right on the head world people. My questions are why Nollywood actors? Why not random traders/hawkers on the streets? Why not widows? Why were they in the church that day if they aren't/weren't members? Was it stage managed?
For the bible says "many would come in my name". I pray God leads us the right way.

    2. I stand with freeze on this, but he is only accountable to God as far as Nigeria is concerned because if the government should raise questions about our pastor's spending we will condemn them that they are anti church.

      Delete
    3. He is not my MOG

      I am Catholic

Whatever he decides to gift people isn't our business. If he decides to buy private jet for someone it isn't out business. The key factor is he gave. Whatever brand of car it was, isn't our business, he gave out. And those actors he gave don't have it.

He gave widows freezers and money to start up business. He gave orphanage homes.he gave cars to some of his workers, members and gave them cash.

I don't expect him to give widows cars. How will they manage and care for the car. It wouldn't have been nice of them to sell it either. So let's say he gave gift according to people's pocket. I don't even care how he shared the gift. I'm interested in the fact that he gave
The key factor is he gave. Don't tell a man how he should give or what he should give because he is a pastor. If he didn't give and spent it on lavish party, the same people castigating now that will still come out and call him names..

      Delete
    4. Fab mum, I beg to disagree with your take... In fact it's time we held these MOG responsible, this 'e-no-consign-me' attitude is what is making these men think they are untouchable. If we hold them responsible and accountable for their actions, they definitely will change.
They are being put in charge of people's money disguised as offerings, tithes, seeds and what have you... So it should be our concern how they spend the money

      Delete
    5. Kzy brown

After tithes, offerings and seeds you think this men don't get personal money?? You think people don't walk up to them and say take this chequer of 2m, what I was asking God for he has done it?? You think people who aren't church members don't put money in their personal pocket?? I don't argue that some pastors spend church money but hope you know some don't even touch church money. But money given to them.. I have seen a pastor who has never bought car with his money for over 10yrs. Every year some one gifts him a car and some times not even church members, last year he was gifted 3 cars he had to dash out 2 to his pastors?? Sometiems this people get so much gift in cash and other means so don't be deceived thay they are eating church money or would you call personal money given to them church money..

An anon yesterday stated her uncle gives a pastor 15m every month and that's not his tithe, if he spends thay 15m is it church money or his money?? Imagine one person giving him 15m,then count every other person thay puts money in his personal pocket..

Because you don't give them doesn't mean others don't. Because you pay your tithe, seed and offering and that's all doesn't mean others don't out money in the pastors pocket.

We are Catholic in my house but I know my in laws who's spiritual father's are pentecostal and I know how they give them money so keep the holding pastors accountable.. Most don't even touch church offerings, tithe and seeds. Just the hungry ones..

I went to a church last year and a girl can out to give thanksgiving. The girl mentioned how she was pursuing a billion naira contract but couldn't get it. When she met the pastor of the church he prayed with her for some days and she promised in her heart thay she was going to him him 5% of that money if she gets it. And that wasn't her tithe. That day if thanksgiving she came with the cheque.imagine how much 5% of a billion naira is, that's what she gave the pastor for his personal pocket. So if he spends it, you will now ask him to come. And make account of how he spent his money??

  14. Yea u made sense there Freeze.

But we are in a world where some people get to their 29th or 30th birthday and feel nothing is going for them, buy black "coat" and tie and set out to be Pastors. It doesn't matter how lowly dey start cos in just a few months, dey are "making" it. No be Naija we dey again?

Here in Nigeria,"Pastorship" thrives cos the level of gullibility of some average Nigerian church-goer is out of this world!
Don't get me wrong.I come from a staunch Catholic home and were raised to see Rev Fathers and Sisters as Demi gods. But even at that, I could still see that common sense was applied where it was needed.
i was raised to know that these men of God before anything are firstly men.
By His Grace,I know I am not the type u wil tell,go and get me ur best jewelry,d Lord needs it and I go. No way! And somehow I have bn able to meet only "good" men of God.
One told my friend that she needed prayers dat someone wants to kill her! As in how????
I just burst into laughter. Trust U to rubbish his claim and tell him he was a swindler. Don't get me wrong,I am not saying some of them can't predict these things. But when u leave Salvation which is the main purpose of Christianity and start preaching Wordly gains and seeing enemies all the time, den I personally have a problem with that.

And one can't even address the issue without u hearing them defend themselves by saying "Oh,David did dis and did that but was still the Apple of God's eye. D man after his heart. And Solomon did dis and did that.
As if that makes their wrong right.

As for this pastor,I won't judge. But if u ask me,I mean was giving out those cars the best he could have done? For people around him? For God? Isn't the Car gifts a whole lot in the face of all that is going on? In a place where some kids don't even get to eat twice daily.

Dunno o,but the fact is that Most pastors have made God's work big business and hence big money and it's high time churches in Naija starts bn taxed.

Ma'am didn't you read the part were it said he gave scholarships and has sponsored hundreds of students up to university level, he also donated money and food items running into millions to orphanages and the less privileged. Yes pastors have their failings and some are bent on deceiving gullible people but I don't think the pastor did wrong by giving. Some of these actors we see everyday on our screen are not as wealthy as we think, especially the veterans (I have one who lives in my estate) so he's not done wrong by gifting them cars.

      Delete
    2. Honestly, if he had gathered the money and injected it into the life of the poor, Alot of people won't still eat twice a day. This is life.

There will always be those who can afford more than 3 square meals a day and those who can't afford even one no matter what is giving to the poor.

Government should regulate religious activities, impose tax on churches & mosques. If church leaders can afford to buy PJ's and fast cars, they should be taxed as well.

  20. But the pastor also gave to those in need that is the most important thing atleast he gave.so if the receivers used their gift for wordly purposes then it will be between the receivers and God Almighty as far as the pastor is concerned he has fulfilled some part of the scripture which says that we should give.Though in area of sincere giving I applaud Prophet Tb Joshua.By the way what happen to leading by examples? How many people can freeze boast of that he has helped? Though we ought to give silently without letting the whole world know but things have changed these days, as long as you are a celebrity give and let us know God will understand how many times has freeze even visited orphanage home?

As for me i will love to give my money to the needy than give it to someone that will live off it due to greed. I rest my case

  26. What really cracked me up was‎, after he handed down a rather copious judgment laced with recurring pontification, he goes "the Bible says judge no one and I won't judge, however..." Mr Freeze, we're all entitled to our opinions but if you are bold enough to dish it out, please man up and call it was it is, JUDGMENT! I wonder why people tend to palliate what they perceive as their harsh remarks with the "I'm not one to judge but..." or "I wouldn't judge you but..." line? Whether we like it or not, giving our opinions on any matter is a form of judgment so why not call a spade what it really is?

In my opinion, he raised some salient points but there were some points I don't agree with, though I will respect his opinion on certain matters. Whenever a man of God or a man of "god" is being criticised, the critic walks on razor edge because there is a delicate balance between Christianity and Church doctrines. It is only fair that you have a sound understanding of spiritual exercises and the application of Biblical principles to every action taken by men of the cloth. Everybody can quote a scripture to back up their their actions even though most times such scriptures and taken out of context to fit with certain doctrines.

As for the pastor's gifts, it's his birthday and the gifts are his to give out to whomever he pleases. Perhaps he gave out the cars to people who can afford to maintain a car because giving a financially challenged person an SUV can be like giving a child a loaded gun. Who knows why he did what he did?

One thing for sure is, no matter what you do, you will always be criticised and challenged by certain individuals. First it was a call out on religious leaders who seem to maintain a wealthy life style while a lot of their congregants are impoverished. Now here comes a pastor who decides to give back and some people feel the gifts were shared unjustly. I'm sure if he had given a car to one of his members living in penury and the car breaks down from lack of proper maintenance, some people will still criticise him for lack of discretion.

The bottom line is to do whatever you feel led to do as long as you are at peace after the fact.‎
