Vice President Osinbajo' Shocking Expose!

WTF!!!

Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo Yesterday at The Nation’s Newspaper Economic
Forum decried the level of corruption under the immediate past administration, blaming some individuals for stealing the equivalent of half of the nation’s current foreign exchange reserves of $27 billion.

*Expose them please,I am one of those people who happens to be tired of all the suspense and time wasting in shaming the thieves..Name and shame them please!

    1. Apc is still doing propaganda, if this is true, the would have leaked the info to the press atleast.
It would soon be 1yr in office and nothing to show so they keep feeding u such so that rather than complain, u vex 4 pdp.
Obama took over one of the worst economies in americas recent history from an opposition party but he faced what he was voted to do. Apc seems to have forgotten they are now in power and no more the opposition.
Even tinubu has started complaining because this isnt what they promised nigerians.

    4. Stella it should be more than shaming them but people will still find fault e.g witch hunting, tribalism all sort so they must come with good evidence.

    5. @ Tuscany or whatever you call yourself, so TINUBU is now one of the people waiting for change? He is now a saint because Buhari has crippled all of them. People like you are just illiterates that will not even shut up or make meaningful comments.
Tomorrow you will say the Panama saga is APC propaganda. Idiats. Una never suffer yet. Come to the UK and see where all your money is wasted on flamboyant houses that Filipino maids are enjoying, you sit here everyday and curse Buhari. Don't pray for Nigeria, if this administration is not able to save Nigeria, then zero your minds that things will NEVER get better, atleast not in your lifetime and the suffering had just begun. Ya'all don't even know what is happening.

    6. Propaganda how? Was money stolen, yes or no??

Are monies missing? Yea or nay? Propaganda? Biko let them reveal whoever stole and let's see what they have left. It will never be well with them. Even if my papa join. Nonsense

    7. Stella. I will have to say I'm with you on this one. This suspense is not doing anyone any good and knowing naija we may never hear their names. Stupid Nigerians who don't realize that these are the people to blame for naijas woes.

    1. Apc is beginning to sound like a broken record. You keep blabbing about corruption, yet those at the helm of affairs are the ring leaders of corruption. We all KNOW who these corrupt thieves are. We've helplessly watched them loot our treasury over the years. The keep on recycling and reshuffling themselves due to their greed resulting in the younger generation being sidelined from important positions in this country. These people have stolen and are still stealing with impunity. Yes that's how brazen they are! They know nothing will happen. Rather they will be celebrated. When these guys(including your friends) are indicted and subsequently sent to jail, you can come out and talk to us about your long ass list of names. As it stands, the only "authentic looters" in our country today are those on the other side of the divide- I.e pdp. Till the likes of amaechi, sheriff, babangida, obasanjo, pdp agberos cum apc proponents, and other glorified untouchable thieves are brought to book and the legal system functional, incorruptible and just, please put a huge lid over your cesspool.

    2. I was watching a former attorney general on the news this morning. And he made some thought provoking arguments.

He suggested that all those who have stolen money and kept it abroad should be called for negotiation. In that if they do not speak,,the countries in which the loot is kept will end up benefitting from the money without declaring it. And Nigerians will never find out, so it'll be a collective loss.

He however suggested that each looter should be asked to declare their loot, and then be given a franchise like the disco electricity whatever, or a contact job that'll be of use to the nation, then be asked that the monies be used for the job. I thought this idea was silly, but when he said, it is either this, or they'll keep quiet if declaring their loot will attract jail term.

So basically, the man was saying that if the government partners with looters, more would be recovered and Nigerians will benefit. And they'd walk free. But if punishment is all that awaits them,,they'd rather u prove that they looted, find the money yourself, or the money will no longer be transferable as the country it's being kept will just enjoy and invest it. So which way Nigeria?

Most Nigerians don't know that the current hardship being faced in the country today are the effects of corruption of the last administration i.e. the ripple effects or do Nigerians think that there will not be consequences of the looting that happened? that is why our president blames pdp even. Akpabio confirmed that the current administration is not to be blamed... do you know that if not for Buhari, Nigerian economy would have entered a great depression worse than the US in the 1930's. Haba 16yrs and nothing to show for it not even a single refinery that is working and you come here and berate my president who is taking his time to ensure that with one. 1. Please name one tangible thing he is doing to correct this problem if not sitting down to blame and blame..

Nigerians are tired of hearing huge sun of money was stolen blah blah blah. We don't want to hear that any more. That was why we voted for the new administration. So let them get to work. Arrest culprits and collect the money. Stop coming outside to shout everyday and nothing is happening..

Don't come and start charging innocent citizens stupid tax to make up for what old thieves stole. Stop crying everyday and get to work..

Fix little things like electricity and let their be constant fuel. Then other things will play it parts. No one wants magic in a year. Ofcourse we knew it will be a little sour before it becomes sweet but it is even bitter not sour now. Things are not moving. Economy is on a shut down. Companies are down sizing because they can't cope with the economy standard of living is high. Small business are suffering. Salary earners haven't received salary either

What the government haa been doing is trial and error

      Example

Let us stop using atm cards abroad, lager it was lifted
Let us not pay in dollars into out account, later it was lifted
Let us not do this and later it will be lifted..

At the end of the day, I have come to a conclusion that the government didn't have a plan before sitting

      Yes they had no plan

Because the knew the rot I'm the economy as they were always it during their campaign to bring down the opposition. They were the ones that leaked a lot of corruption during their campaign even with the aide of Sahara reporters. So they knew exactly what they were getting in to

I don't even know where to start from when you said PDP adminstration of 16yrs have nothing to show for it.Maybe you forgot OBJ was a PDP president.

The promises on which you were elected none has been fulfilled, in the short term concentrate on making fuel and electricity available that will do us more good than comments on unknown people stealing billions.

How long are we going to keep hearing about these nameless individuals that stole us dry?. Are they not palpable or what?. If you ain't going to come out clean and neat, then why spill half and half.

Biko, Buhari and his team, Nigerians are tired of this back and forth of baseless accusations. Save us the half details and get down to work. You guys also better roll up your sleeves cos it ain't an easy task ahead. All we want is to see things get better and how you choose to do it, i could care less about. 42. the 'hailing hailers' and 'sai babaists' are missing the point.

if you are employed to replace a very very incompetent employee and you're still blaming him 6 months (or more) later, you will get yourself sacked. you need to demonstrate that you have what it tales to clean up the mess made by your predecessor. You cant keep saying 'the former manager messed up the company', month in month out because you were hired as a problem solver.

the very least this administration can do is to develop their own national development blueprint or economic plan. they should stop giving us sound bites on twitter and face book and show us a comprehensive national plan, even the war against corruption is not being executed clinically and based on a coherent national strategy.

a beg they need to show us that they mean business. Nigerians moved past GEJ when they voted in the APC. why cant the APC themselves move forward like the voting public did, by, yes, acknowledging the mistakes of the past but telling us clearly how they're working to avoid/correct them. LETS MOVE FORWARD ...!!!!

    shikena!!!

    1. Well stated.
Especially the part of a man hired to clean up the mess. If you've ever worked with a very big company or conglomerate before. A time comes when everything is stiff. One MD or the other swept the whole place clean, embezzled funds, made away with company property, ceded company land to himself with the aid of some accomplices, ran the company a-ground. Then in between, when its discovered, they'd fire him/or it could be the CEO's son or the CEO himself being wasteful.

In the end, they'll employ a clean-up man to come and clear the mess. The clean-up guy doesnt complain too much, na. He calls emergency meetings, works tirelessly. Day and Night. Early morning, you'd see him sitting by the desk before anyone comes. Strategising with auditors, cutting costs of running the companies. The excess wastage, you will see going down. If the CEO was sending out 15 cars for a job, he'll start sending out 7. Granted, some workers will be retrenched. Things will change. In the beginning, it may be a bit difficult for everyone. Even the CEO, he might have to cut down his summer vacations, sell his yacht or luxury cars, cut down on mistresses. But before long, things begin to look up. The workers feel a renewed trust in the management. Everything becomes more efficient. And most of the talking was done in board meetings. They rarely discuss what the former guy did. The 1st meeting they call, they just show you a roadmap and they stick with it; making only few moderations.

This, my dear is the story of most big companies still afloat today. Be it UAC, banks, insurance companies. I tell you that a point in their existence, they were run aground. But today, they still stand.

Put this in the Nigerian example and to support your comment above. Its indeed sad suffering from people's clelessness and suffering for clueless people. You cant be suffering without a due-date. When do you think we will start making progress? Stop all these, 'how can I clear 16 years of rot with 1 year'? Admit your incompetence. Its simple. If your problem overwhelms you, why not resign or hand it over to people who can get the job done.

The past administration for all their faults had bright thinkers. Only that corruption and rot was allowed to set in.

This administration feels like an oligarchy. My failure to endorse it stemmed from the fact that I predicted that Buhari would forcefully try to change things and it will fail and people will suffer. Its happening. Midway now, he'd get very tired and resign himself to fate. By then looting will start. Thats what always happens. Plus they seem to think borrowing will save us.
