The only reason I am updating is because some people have been on my case asking how she is...
The truth of the matter is that Flora went back to her Husband two weeks after the cry out for help and she mailed me saying he beat her because it was her fault and that she takes all the blame for what happened.
She also wanted me to take off the Initial cry out for help because she was under pressure but i didnt respond to that.I don't want anyone to come here cussing her out because i don't know why she went back.Let us just pray for all to be well with her in Jesus name.
She also said she has been banned from browsing or reading blogs so would not know what is going on.She also begged for forgiveness and kept saying i wouldn't understand and i didn't..I was shocked to my tits but wished her well
I have been too embarrassed on her behalf to make this post but i guess that it is what it is!

DeleteI have a friend that her husband is violent, even a week to their wedding he ordered her out his car at the middle of the road. I was even expecting, my dear Mrs wanna be continued with the wedding. You can imagine a bride that was not given the opportunity to choose her wedding decoration? The guys family did everything she just came to the wedding like mumu. Her dad was begging for water to drink. I was just there wondering if she must marry this guy? The car he used to propose to her he sold it immediately after the wedding. DeleteI know Flora will go back to her husband. If you are not married , it is very easy to just walk away. I am saying this because I know I know it. There are lots of things women go through in their marriages but they still stay put. I knew from her pictures that she is not a strong willed woman. She looked fragile . Once a person starts using situations like "I am an orphans" I don't have anybody" I just know it that the person is willing to take anything. A lot of women make excuses for their men bad character. I am very sure that most married women that read her post advised her to go back and make it work. Marriage is everything to a lot of women. I cannot say that if I am in hee position that I won't go back. I have found myself in certain situations that I cannot believe the decisions I took. I will not cuss Flora but rather tell her to take a stand against a woman beater of a husband. Undertaken should be signed to prevent such future occurrence. After some days, she went back to the police telling them we are distance Cousins and that I have no right to interfere in her marriage. She even claimed the husband did what he did under the influence of alcohol. The guy was bailed and she went back to his house. Beating stopped for some weeks. Now, it has increased plus the guy has a second wife and nobody is even ready to hear her cries. She can die there for all we care., it's her choice.

I have an aunt( uncle's wife), its d hubby that's my relative. They live on my grandmas street. Beating everyday, dey will always cum to my grandma(who is the mans aunt) to cum settle fight. Until one day he beat her so badly, tore her suit and locked her out. I saw her early one morning walkn to my grandmas house during my hols dere. She was bloodied, clothes torn and she had slept in d compound. This was a woman that a bank manager, it was her even paying rent etc.
I was in sec school then, she packed out dat time. Took everything even spoons.
What did I hear next abt last yr. That this ppl that have been separated like 15yrs are now back together. Now living as husband and wife, their first born is even married now.

We got married legally on the 21st of August 2014, the marriage was based on lies, deceit, emotional and physical abuse. When we got married I was working with Nigerian breweries PLC, earning a good sum of money as a sales executive until he heaped pressure on me to resign adding that he could take care of me, am now a shadow of my old self owing to beatings and attempts to strangle me with bare hands and wire. I lived in constant fear of the next minute while putting up good face pretending to the public that all is well. We had our traditional marriage on the 27th of December 2015 with both families as witnesses. A copy of the marriage certificate is attached.
I finally made up my mind to save the my life and the life of my 1 month old baby, Chimamanda miracle on the 11th of February 2016 on the day when he threatened to strangle me with his bare hands and as I ran out of the house he used planks to assault me and there after rained slaps and blows on me not minding that I was carrying my child at that moment, he could have hit the child. This made me sick for days with internal and external injuries and also renewed post natal bleeding. I feel emotionally and physically abused as a breastfeeding mother, on several occasions he has threatened to kill me, used wires and bare hands in an attempt to strangle me and also used weapons like planks and also his bare hands to hit me. On another occasion while I was 4months pregnant in July 2015 he pushed me face down twice and anything could have happened to my unborn baby.
I moved out of our house on the 14th of February 2016 to a friends place in ajah for the mean time and ever since then he hasn't checked on his daughter neither has he asked of her welfare, I want the court to ask him to sell the landed property which we both own at opic estate in which I have a higher stake of at least 70%, to over see the welfare of his child through monthly support and grant me full custody of the child, he cannot see our daughter alone. I also pray the court to make him pay me compensation for resigning my job and wasting my hard earned time and resources.
I feel mentally, emotionally and physically abused as a nursing mother.
This marriage will only work by the grace of God. The husband is not a good person naturally. You need to see the trashy message he sent me when I reached out to him about the case.

That was how my friend's hubby beat her purple nd green like say tomorrow no dey,it got to a point were we cldnt take it anymore especially d day he beat her and chased her out inthe night by 11pm. We(her friends) had to put serious fire for her nyansh abeg,she had d option of leaving her marriage or fighting back. The day her husband tried hitting her again, my friend show am kung fu style,beat the hubby like say he thief meat for pot.
