Empower54's humanitarian activities in Africa is receiving full support from the US where its a registered Non-profit since 2003 when the organization commenced its humanitarian programs in Africa.
The Founder/Chair, Nigeria's Princess Modupe Ozolua from Benin-city, Edo State is bringing attention to the needs of the survivors of Boko Haram attacks in North East Nigeria. Since January 2015, Empower54 has empowered hundreds of women IDPs in Borno, Adamawa and Gombe States, established schools in IDP camps and rebuilt 3 schools destroyed by Boko Haram in Adamawa and Borno States.
Princess Modupe Ozolua has been featured in numerous major US newspapers such as Washington Post, Yahoo News, Seattle Times, ABC News, San Diego Tribune, television and radio stations including the top celebrity magazine, Rolling Out about Empower54's activities including their upcoming African Art Charity Gala in Atlanta.

Today, Saturday April 30th at the prestigious Besharat Galelry in Atlanta Georgia, stunning paintings by Nigerian painters El-Dragg Leonard Okwoju, Damola Adepoju, Bimbo Adenugba, Abdulrazaq Ahmed, Shonibare Olatunbosun, Stanley Anyanwu and Tega Akpokoma will be auctioned to support raising funds to continue the NGO's rebuilding of schools in North East Nigeria.
Guests will enjoy Nigerian foods, music, networking, drinks and art pieces to support a worthy cause.

ReplyDeleteOkpame the warrior (who became Oba Ozolua) who reign for 23 years died in the hands of his soldiers who poisoned him at Uzea after the Uromi war of 1503AD. He died 1504AD, his body was carried home to Benin through Udo.
Oba Ozolua had a destiny to attain not only in himself but also to his wife, Idia the mother of Osawe (who became Oba Esigie)
