Nigerian Billionaires’ Wives Under Whose Watch Their Husbands Hit The Gold Mine

He who finds a wife.....

FEMO OTEDOLA AND WIFE
Many a woman would love to peel, and then crush the shell of her love like a garlic clove. That shell is her man. Some would love to grate off their high heels using their matrimony as a pumice stone, and then prance flat-footed on the smithereens of wedlock like an infant troll or the belle of an ape.

To these colourful characters, marriage manifests as a prison house from which they can hardly wait to break out; more often than not, they consider their husbands worst personification of the hateful jailer. But that is one class of women. Through the maze and matrix of matrimony subsists a more pleasant class and breed of women characterised by dashing womanhood and legendary character reminiscent of the nurturer women of ancient Africa and Rome.

These women like the medieval vestal virgins cater to the spiritual, emotional and mannish needs and insecurities of their men in deliberate bid to bring about the best fortune and chances for them. And they never rest on their oars, inspiring, supporting and wishing the best chances on their husbands till the latter evolve fully into the best that they could ever become. Every nation has its fair share of such women although they are a rarity to behold.

Nigeria for instance, boasts of such womanhood in Titilola Adenuga, the wife of Dr. Mike Adenuga; Nana Otedola, wife of oil magnate, Femi Otedola; Kay Ovia, wife of Zenith Bank Chairman, Jim Ovia; Awele Elumelu, wife of UBA Chairman, Tony Elumelu; Chioma wife of Leo Stan-Ekeh, the ebullient chairman of Zinox; Reni Folawiyo, the wife of Tunde Folawiyo, and Samsu Samara, the wife of chairman of Oriental Energy Resources, Allhaji Mohammed Indimi.

These women by their amazing depth of character and womanhood manifest in their husband’s lives like a salt-cellar exposing a white skull of crystals. On their watch, each of their men has evolved into a very powerful factor in different fields of endeavour. It is even more fascinating to note that despite their husbands’ power and influence, they have managed to keep and sustain very low profiles unpretentiously and satisfactorily.

  4. Jaw breaking grammer, ekuse o.

All I could make out, is that, these women have been holding their husbands down, from day one.

    Nice one.

Not every man is worth that kind of sacrifice though. The issue is how to know beforehand.

    1. Still respect and keep their homes after sleeping around? You talk with so much resignation like youre not expecting good from your husband. Beware of Dogs.
Theres no higher disrespect than sleeping around in a marriage. Kid yourself not.

  12. Nana didn't do shit for Otedola. The man simply reinvested his father's loot. Nana came into money, not that she suffered for anything with Femi.

    2. Liar! Yes she did and when Femi had his set back she lent him money from her very successful garment care. Don't speak of things you do not know!

  13. Lovely write-up... In this modern day and age though, many women are the first to be flung out of the Window by the men they have supported all their lives OR if they remain married to save face, become the foot mat of the one they carried all along. Life is a complex and a gamble. Kudos to all those who truly uphold their men, that's the way God intended things to be.

If you know the kind of things one of them above is enduring all in the name of I'm married and to a billionaire you would prefer a broke man.

May God answer your other prayers. Amen

  21. Chikito, you are so right! My fiance is one silent billionaire. We met like a normal couple and he hid this fact from me for a while. I thought he was a struggling businessman ,that was the impression he gave me at first. I was a hustling corper myself. One day i just received an alert of 1million naira from him to go shop for some dresses and he warned me to use every single penny and not bother to save anytin as per how girls act na. Haaaaaa...i was in shock! Infact story pienty. Turns out all the girls just wanted a comfortable guy and never bothered to know the kind of person he is. That's why chronicles will never stop. We getting married next month. And yes, there are good rich men out there. Just pray for God's guidance. Let Him direct you to your own partner. Never forget the importance of prayers for. And most of all, stop show offs/bragging. Enemies yappa.

    4. You see???
I know young men in their 30s who are swimming in 100s of millions. Single guys oh!! Most are landlords sef. Yet, they are very quiet and disciplined. They don't talk, they don't womanize, party or have girlfriends. So when I see them davido and wizkid and all these local Lagos boys flaunting wristwatch and popping champagne and some blogs be carrying I just laugh!! Cos the wristwatch collections of some silent guys I know can pay my salary for 10 years. Yet, they can pass you and you won't even notice they have passed. Me, I've always beloved in silent money. And even when I build my mansion or I do XYZ tmr nobody will hear my voice. Cos I have gone in contact with too many silent multi billionaires to be shouting.
Some of these our 'big men' go behind to meet such people to ask for business advice and investments. And this people invest through them and watch their money grow while these ones take the spotlight.

  25. At the risk of sounding like a Chauvinist...Unlike this generation of lazy yet greedy ladies that want ready-made men (apology to the hardworking ones). then it was 'behind every successful man is a woman', now it's "in front of every successful man is a greedy woman with hustling side chicks". Women are made by God to be supporters and helpmates to their men, that's why it is written; He who finds a wife, finds a good thing, and obtain favor from the Lord... If only you ladies know what you carry within you... you wont fall so cheap looking for made men to boost your self-worth
