DeleteI've seen the movie. Its a very interesting one worth every kobo. The publicity made it seem like it's a bunch of wives who just went on a flimsy one. But it wasn't. There was much more to it. It sends a message of empowerment, solidarity, sanity and freedom.
DeleteI recommend... And there were lots of laughter too.

ReplyDeleteShe gave the movie good publicity. She used every means of advert for this movie so why shouldn't she rake in millions. You spend money to make money. Simple logic
ReplyDeleteMet her selling tickets to watch the movie @ shoprite amuwo. We gisted for a while and took pictures. She's so cool. She really publicised the movie well. Couldn't watch the movie tho cos I went with my children. I promised her I'll watch this week

Saw Chioma selling the tickets on Sunday, her face and known bad attitude automatically discouraged me, I am not a fan of Nigerian cinema movies , will still buy on dvd, had to go for a foreign movie, Omoni enjoys publicity so let her continue
ReplyDeleteI need 2 watch dis bt I tot oct 1 made 100 abi? I love dis woman when I watched one of d film she acted.can't remember d name bt her husband was abroad & she went 2 join him I think she & her hubby had no papers so d deported d hubby bt she was preg & stayed wit a couple dat d wive pretended 2 be preg, only 2 take her child frm her in d airport when she wnt 2 Find out something frm d officials, only 4 her 2 come back no woman no baby liked it bt can't remember d name watched it in a cinema
ReplyDeleteThe name is anchor baby
DeleteSeeing a Nigerian movie isn't the problem, the kind of noise that comes with the ad is usually insane, but then you go to the cinema to see the movie and you weep bitterly. But 51m views? Naaaa it should be good.. Will try and see it before I judge.
ReplyDelete51M what? Views, Naira or Zimbabwean dollars? 51M my foot. Sales cannot yet be tracked well in Nigeria cos there are no systems. Oloshi
ReplyDeleteI saw d movie yesterday, It was worth my money, it's soooo hilarious
ReplyDeleteI saw the movie at Kada cinema yesterday, It was fun. The whole Cinema 2 was full to the brim.People that came un late had to leave cos there was no vacant space. Seriously dat is the first time I met such crowd. It was fun. Keneth Okonkwo & Omoni did well
