I love what you are doing and am a fan who comments when i want to.Please this lady here needs help.She is my elder brother"s wife who is pregnant with twins but they are facing hardship.Her husband is out of job and they relocated to the village pending when things will turn out well.

  I was skeptical as first but then i summoned courage and went.

Authorities of Winners Chapel Take Note Stella,  I want to address an annoying incident that happened in the premises of Winner Chapel Owerri. Actually it happen last year. It was not on a Sunday. It happened on a weekday. I have always planned to address the issue when I visit Nigeria ,but unfortunately, I have not been home.  This is my story. I visited Nigeria with my kids and during our stay at home, my mum kept bothering me to come say hello to the current pastor in charge of the owerri main branch. She also said it was important for the pastor to pray for us before we travel back to our base. I wasn't really keen, but my mum kept mounting pressure. So a day before our return I decided to follow my mother to see the pastor privately.  We were ushered into the waiting room by another pastor. About ten people were already waiting. My kids were little bored and kids being kids, they started playing. My first son was fondling with the curtains. We had waitied like for over an hour. I was bored myself.  Can you imagine that as the pastor (receptionist) ushered in another visitor, he walked up to my son and hit him on the back and said "stop playing with those curtains".  I was surprised and offended by his actions and walked up to him and demanded to know why he hit my son like that. He boldly me told me that was for corrective purpose. Corrective? Are you kidding me? What did he do wrong? The pastor maintained that he was not supposed to play with curtains, he was supposed to sit quietly. Can you imagine? Stella I was mad. I mean, as Nigerians, it is an insult to beat a child before his mother. If my son did anything wrong, he was supposed to tell me first to caution my son. But the annoying part was that my son did nothing. But the primitive pastor expected a child to sit quietly like an adult. I mean in the western world you as a parent cannot even raise your hand to hit your child, not to talk of an outsider. Worst still, in the house of God. Is winner Chapel not buoyant enough to provide toys for kids in their waiting room? Isn't that how it is done in in the western world?  So as the argument between myself and the pastor continued, the so called pastor Moses came out of his office to see what was going on. Guess what he did? Without even asking what was going on, he said I should leave if I cannot keep quiet. He repeated it like five times. He was shouting. Everybody was surprised at his actions. Like seriously, this how the pastor in charge resolves issues? I picked my handbag, took my kids and left. My mum ran towards the car, pleading with me to come back.  Hear her..."don't mind pastor Moses' behaviour, he is a man of God. Please come let him pray for you and your children. Is not good for you to travel back without prayers."  "Like seriously? Pastor Moses pray for me and my children? Over my dead body will that happen. You mean I should go to the same silly man who met an argument and never bothered to know what was going on before asking me to leave" Another dedicated church member joined my mum to beg me not to leave, but to come in and wait for my turn to see Moses. I was really shocked because religion has so blinded our people to the extent that they accept whatever their pastors do. It doesn't matter if it is right or wrong. Someone has just ordered me to leave and you ask me to come and wait for my turn to be prayed for. Funny! Stella, our some of our pastors are taking too much. These are people who feed fat on people's tithe and offerings, yet they cannot treat the same people who put food on their table with respect. I know how much I personally contributed to the building of that church auditorium about fifteen years ago. Shortly before I travelled abroad. The so called pastor Moses does not even know how that church was built. He only came to reap where he didn't sow. The pastors who suffered to nurse that church until it grew have all been posted out.  I know some fanatics will curse me after reading this, but I stand on the word of God to tell them that "whom the Lord has blessed, no man can curse." A thousand pastor Moses put together cannot curse me. Just like OAP Freeze said in his open letter to Kaduna State Governor.... Jeremiah 23:16 KJV [16] Thus saith the Lord of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the Lord . Jeremiah 23:21-23 KJV [21] I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied. [22] But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings. [23] Am I a God at hand, saith the Lord , and not a God afar off? If pastor Moses was truly a man of God. A man with the wisdom of God, he would have handled the matter in a better way. I could not address this issue when it happened because I was to leave the next day and hard lots of stuff to do that same day. But I remember sending a letter to the pastor expressing my disappointment with his leadership skill.  There is need for the authorities of winners chapel to give quality training to their pastors.These pastors should bear in mind that without their members, no food for them. We put food on their table, yet they fail to live up to expectation. I rest my case. Sad behaviour but my dear look up to GOD THE AUTHOR AND FINISHER OF YOUR FAITH.if you follow wetin these pastors dem do them go preach ''touch not my prophet..'' for you.

IGBO BUDDIES NEEDED ASAP

I am very new to your blog and I must say it makes my day. The comments are hilarious. I am most amused when it becomes a tribal war. I am also almost always disturbed when James leaves a comment. (James please ask Jesus to fix it! Won't he do it?).

I am not sure where on the blog this will fit in but I will assume IHN. This might seem like a weird request but I need some Igbo Bvs who are fluent in the language to help me become fluent in speaking igbo.

Let me backtrack a bit before I get any tribalistic responses.  I am of " O people" and "borrowed language/culture" heritage (In SdkBlog slang). Since my parents don't speak the same language we only speak english at home. I understand and speak yoruba (yoruba movies helped a lot as did having yoruba friends around to practice with). I understand igbo and speak a bit but I don't have people around me who speak it so I have found it extremely difficult to improve. I actually read Igbo well. I usually know what to say but I'm not confident enough to voice it because I feel people will laugh at my pronunciations. The irony in this is that I identify with my Igbo side more.

Well it was my birthday a few days ago and even though I am an extremely private person I decided to throw caution to the wind and ask for help. I have challenged myself to become fluent before the year is over. #FixItJesus

A little bit about myself,  I am a female in my late twenties and reside outside Nigeria.What I am familiar with is what I've been told is central Igbo (Imo state) and that is what I would like to learn/perfect.

So I applied for Angel Blaze’s giveaway for single mum for my immediate younger sister in October 2015, although she was not chosen.
