The Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed yesterday joined other
stakeholders in the Nigerian creative industry to discuss channels of
collaboration between Nigeria and the United Kingdom at the Creative
Industries Conference and Expo (CICE).
The event which took place at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja, was
organised by the British Council to promote and foster lasting
partnership between both countries.
The CICE featured high profile speakers from both countries as well as
Nigerian celebrities and dignitaries who represented various facets of
the industry.
Attendees at the event include the Bristish High Commissioner to Nigeria, Paul Artwright; popular artiste, D'banj; veteran Nollywood actors, Hilda Dokubo and Francis Duru; ace broadcaster, Eugenia Abu; Founder, Ake Book and Arts Festival, Lola Shoneyin; Performance Poet, Dike Chukwumerije; Executive Director, BusinessDay Newspapers, John Osadolor and others.
