I must commend you for the good job you do with your blog. I've been a fan for ages and even though I seldom comment, i go through every post. Some posts are hilarious, fictional, thought provoking and inspirational. 

I never thought i'll be sending you my story, but right now I am kinda desperate and lonely. I don't know if my mail is fit for a spot in your almighty chronicles, but here goes...... 

I am Akin, a 27 year old graduate, presently an entrepreneur while waiting for service. I am smart and quite resourceful, easy and decorous. 

I met Rhoda at the age of 15, she was 2 years older than i was but we clicked so well that our family members became close too. I'll never forget the first time I saw Rhoda, so elegant and radiant. It was a Monday afternoon in secondary school and she was a new student who needed to find her way to the school library. I was a geek (still a geek) and i used the library well so we became library friends and that was how it all started. 

After secondary school, she went to Ireland for her degrees and masters while i couldn't afford tuition fee for a university education because I lost my dad and the burden became too much for my mum. I had to start working while saving up for school.

Rhode came home for holidays while in her 3rd year in the University and she asked me out. I felt I wasn't good enough for her but she insisted. We started dating and it was the first time I'll fall in love. She was so open about our relationship that her friends criticized her but she never gave in. She was my first love. I would visit her at home and her mum would be so friendly and

accommodating which was nice. 

She travelled back to Ireland and i thought that was the end of the relationship but i thought wrong. Rhody (as I fondly call her) would call every week and we'll chat endlessly till our batteries ran out. Distance never separated us, it brought us closer. 

The whole drama started when she came home and brought her cousin (Tinu) with her. She'll bring her cousin to see me and we'll hang out together. Until her cousin came alone one day trying to seduce me. I turned her down blatantly which was the biggest mistake I ever made because she made my life hell afterward. She tore her clothes, and claimed I raped her. Nobody believed me except Rhoda's mum who never liked her. I was on the verge of getting arrested when she claimed she made it all up to punish me because no guy has ever turned her down before. 

This damaged my relationship with Rhoda as she never forgave herself for not trusting me. I made all efforts to let her know I forgave her but she just wouldn't listen, till she travelled back, only for her to call me 2 weeks later, breaking up with me on the phone and that was it. 

I was so devastated and it took a long time for me to move on. Now, my issue is that I have not had another relationship ever since, my friends think it's because i dated someone older than i was but i don't think so. I have worked to make myself a better person but I still feel something is missing and i am scared I'll never find love again.

I have been single for 3 years, 2 months and 5days. My mother and siblings have been worried because of the effect my last relationship had on me.

I ain't social which reduces my chances of meeting the opposite sex. I am quite timid but very adventurous. Love taking risk and i am gentle to the core. 

I've never participated in your SNM because I feel I am not qualified for the various vacancies posted (Lol). 

I am just a simple guy who wants to love and be happy again. 

Please Stella! Hook a brother up, and to all BVNs who says a guy should get money first before having a relationship. The same money that attracted you to the guy is the same money that'll he'll use to inspire you to send in your chronicles to Stella about him cheating on you.

Sorry to disturb you with my little issue thats giving me insomnia.

I wrote jamb this year and i got 224 i applied to study medicine at the university of lagos.

I never expected to get this low because i was opportuned to teach my fellow jambites before the exam and surprisingly they got more than me,i dont know maybe its because i was part of those who wrote the first day of the exam because there was a lot of 'ish' at the beginning of the exam and i was sent 184 as my score before jamb decided to add 40 marks to it.

My problem now is moving forward,i dont know how to start preparations for unilag post utme because am so discouraged with my jamb score.

CAUSED OUT FOR SAYING MY MIND CONCERNING DV ISSUE

Good afternoon Stella,I trust you good,I am sending this to get advice from BVS....There's this young couple their marriage would be 1yr by June,before they got married I doubt their courtship lasted 3months before they got married but one thing I know about this Guy he's full of lies he claims to be what he's not and I am sure that is what he used to cajole this babe he beats her even before they got married but this babe still went ahead to get married to him.

After wedding there's no week that they don't quarrel and it leads to him beating his wife and injure would throw her things out,neighbours would settle and anytime she takes in the guy would make sure he beats her and the pregnancy would drop,3days ago they came back from the guys village where they attended a burial ceremony the girl claim while in the bus they didn't sit together and she caught her husband collecting a girl's number she didn't say anything and hes always doing that,they got home fight start again,the man inflicted injuries on the girl and she's pregnant @ the moment he threw her things out again the girl packed her things and went to her parents.

Now everyone is saying she did a wrong thing,me I said I would do same if I was the babe come and see the way people abused me o and said it's because I am not married that's why I am saying that.... Stella am I wrong for what I said

TWO SCARS AND ONE BABY

 Stella boo I love what you re doing please share my story I need encouragement of the BVNS 

 Lost a child in the same manner ‎similar to that of delsuth poster. 

Stella reading this story made me shed  tears I taught I have bottled up, I lost my perious child due to negligence of a private hospital a very big reputable hospital in Gowon estate ipaja, I do have HBP in pregnancy, it was pregnancy induced. I had my first baby in a general hospital but I wasn't pleased by their service.  so I opt 4 a private hospital for my second pregnancy that was the worst mistake of my life, when I was 30wks gone I started having complication I was having false labour and contraction. 

I was always in and out of hospital till I was 35weeks than the student doctor suggest I go for CS to save the baby and my self. The day 4 the CS was picked but u won't believe the surgeon was not aware  and they were preparing me 4 the operation so it was postponed to the second day on the d day after the CS @ 36wks I was delivered of a baby boy. My baby needed an incubator BT the hospital had none. 

They had to refer to a neonatal hospital in gbagada. They were suppose to take him in an ambulance BT their ambulance has no oxygen. The had to do a mouth to mouth sort of thing for him. From ipaja to gbagada the traffic was mad. By the time my baby got to an incubator it was late.

 I lost my precious. Nobody could break the news to me cause of what I went though during the pregnancy. I had him on 30th of December by 6am and I lost him by 6pm. I never got to see what he looks like. I only hear him cry when they brought him out that was d only thing I heard 4rm him. The only connection. Can u imagine. I wanted to sue 4 damages by it will never bring back my baby I lost him even before I get to see him. I heartache I feel every time I remember is not explain able.  But I leave everything to God. Only him can console me now. I have two scars and a baby.
