    2. Wearing mask wont stop him knowing the identity of a testifier because he will definitely get to know who was involved in certain deals and what transpired

  2. Hmmm...this shouldn't deter credible witnesses though. If you have ur facts, testify. Nigerians will know, should anything happen to u during or after the trial.

If anything happens? Who wants to die? Lolzzzz

Nigerians will know but where will the witness be? Is this whole thing that dangerous tho?

      Morning dear,howdy?

    2. Lol yes my dear Iphie.

What I mean is that once the witness is made public and makes his/her public testimony, that's it, nothing can happen to such because it'll be too obvious. It is only when the witness is being coded and the accused gets to find out, that is when the witness is at risk.

Don't know if u get my drift? Lol

    1. Nothing abnormal in him denying charges. That's why you see people plead not guilty. That's why there is a court of law to prove be young reasonable doubt thay they are guilty..

The only thing is his sentencing will be higher if he is found guilty. If he pleaded guilty, there wouldn't be need for so many up and down in the court and his sentencing lower but now with all this dragging, if he is found guilty, higher sentencing..

Even armed robbers, murderers plead not guilty until they find them guilty. Remember we are all innocent until proven guilty.

  8. The federal government are scammers
They are big time scammers. Why would you want witness to wear mask, give fake names and address?? Is this a charge against terrorism? Are they convicting any boko haram kingpin or an isis leader that witness will need protection from??

Please they shouldn't make me believe this dasuki issue is all made up. Because I don't understand why they will want people to wear maak for money laundry charges..

With mask they can sneak in just anyone to come and lie and give false witness..

    This federal government are scammers.

  10. Haa.
Witness protection programs can't even work in Nigeria.

How many police men will resist some dollars to spill the location of the witness? Even relatives that you refused to give money in the past will haunt you down with emotions until you divulge your new location, and gbam, they sell you out. We are a cultural, emotional people.

During the Otokoto/Obidiozo trial,a potential witness was killed in the holding cell abi na prison, barely 48hours after he was caught.

I think I prefer the masked face suggestion.

    1. This case isn't same as that. When they say witness for the likes of dasuki, it's just names of those who he transacted business with not killers. People who he made transfers to and those who worked closed to him with the money issue..

With mask they will bring I'm fake testifiers. People who will come and lie. This case doesn't deserve mask of any sort

    2. Well,if they think their lives are in danger or they have got some threats from Dasuki's stooges,it calls for a mask kind of trial.

I understand your point of view though, you think the whole uproar might have been false and FG could easily sneak in fake people to come testify right? Hmmm. Let's siddon dey look

    3. I don't think the uproar is false
I Just feel this people already mentioned names of people that have been involved with dasuki and the money. Efcc at one point names Alot of people as witness so if we now know this people, why should they be demanding for mask??

Again whether mask or no mask, dasuki will know who is testifying against him Because he knows people who conducted business with him. If someone comes and testifies and say yes he gave me 5 million dollars for something something and made payment thru something something, dasuki will immediately know who is talking whether they are under

      So what's the point??

Unless they have other plans like sneaking in different people to come and testify. Whixh will be fake testimony

  11. Believe what you read on some news website with a pinch of salt. See how this one reported the story.

EFCC had already published the names of their witnesses before they requested that the trial be conducted in secret with only chosen press agents allowed in the court room. The judge denied their request as witness protection cannot apply if your witnesses and their addresses have already been published by the same EFCC.

  13. People should always pray for wisdom to guide them in what they do. It shows that some persons just make decision without proper analysis. How can the publish names and addresses of witnesses? And they expect people to testify when they are not guaranteed safety by the so called security agencies.

  15. Well the truth is how will dasuki's lawyer test the veracity of the witness' statement if he does not know the identity and details of the witness? He cannot conduct any form of private investigation on his own. In other words, they have to take the evidence of the witness hook, line and sinker. That is a form of injustice in itself as it gives undue advantage to the prosecutor and makes the work of the defence lawyer extremely difficult.
