The wife of the Speaker of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Mrs Uduak Luke was yesterday, 12th March, 2016, conferred with a Doctorate degree in Environmental Technology by the University of Calabar.
The LEWA President already holds a Bachelors and Masters degrees from the University of Uyo and University of Calabar respectively.
Meanwhile, the Speaker of the House of Assembly, Rt. Hon (Barr) Onofiok Luke has felicitated his wife, Uduak and In a message signed by himself and their three kids - Etiusungisang, Enoabasi, and Uduak, said the Luke family is proud of the academic exploits of their wife and mom.

Luke and the kids wished Mrs Luke more years of greater exploits, honour, uncommon advancements and grace.

ReplyDeletePls tell me how many politicians wives have doctorate degrees. It's not a matter of low self esteem. We are praising her so others can amulet her. The life of a woman should not just end in marriage and kids but we should aspire to be so much more.

ReplyDeleteLike play like play ds guy is now d speaker.Can still remember d story i was told of wn he was d SUG president University of Uyo,Akpan Ekpo was d VC then n Sch fees was increased.Ds guy took d sch to court, dem say dem say d guy went dumb in court etc etc....he's come a long way.
Can rem wn my daughter was abt 3months or thereabout in 2011 n he was just a house member.I saw d both of them at d pediatrics ward of uniuyo teaching hospital wt their child n n they were both so doen to earth.I was like waoh,even rich people patronize govt hospitals.
Nowadays anytime my mum sees them on TV she'll be so excited.
