At only thirty-four, Donna, a guitar teacher, learned she had multiple sclerosis. She prayed for healing, but it didn’t happen. Eventually, she even had to give up the guitar. “That was devastating,” she said. Though confined to a wheelchair, she began focusing on things she could do. She and a friend opened an adult care home. At church she sang in the choir. Even in the face of testing, her joyful spirit ministered to many. She discovered she could be faithful to God despite her limitations.

They were left to test the Israelites to see whether they would obey the Lord’s commands, which he had given their ancestors through Moses (Judges 3:4).

Many Christians experience circumstances God allows as a test. He could remove the situation. They pray for that, but, in His sovereignty, He sometimes doesn’t. Like Donna, people can focus on the positive, recognizing that, even when they don’t understand it, God uses everything for their good.

Prayer Suggestion: Lord, help me remember that You know what is best for me, and help me to trust You with everything in my life.

Stella my love, how are you doing today?...I need you to help me put

and I must tell you, it hasn't been easy to get a job.

 I have given up on it and thinking of empowering myself rather than

waiting for a job and if it comes, I will accept it but while waiting.
