Remember the Pathetic story of an eight month girl Rokibat Ajibade whose eyes got infected with a disease she contracted from her mother during child birth?. According to the doctor, her 19 year old mother Mufubat had venereal disease, that she was not aware of. ......
Rokibat was almost blind and needed almost N2m to have eye Surgery...Thankfully a BV paid the amount in full and Rokibat and some other BV's contributed as well.
''Dear Stella,
Trust this meets you hale and hearty!!!
Thank you so much for your support. Rokibat had her cornea transplant on the 3rd of March, 2016.
She had a successful surgery. MeCure team carried out the surgery and she is recuperating at LASUTH.
Our heart felt gratitude goes out to all those who contributed to the success of the surgery'
God Bless You Stella
Best Regards
