  14. The general Der equality bill is for both sexes, it protects the right of children and widows and it is seeking to stop discrimination between both genders , there is nothing to be scared of here. It just shows we have a lot of chauvinist in this country
What are men afraid of? ?

  17. They should all go sit on a pike abeg. The women clamouring equality forget that they still get a free pass on most things in life. If were a senator, I did ask that the bill be passed and maternity leave outlawed to reflect the "equality" they so much desire.

  21. Please when you go to the market to buy something is there a separate price for men and women? Those that work in cooperate organisation, is there preference over men. When you go to school and make good grades do they refuse to award them to you because you are a Woman. I want gender equality because it will make women to stop putting too much responsibility on men. We will start paying for our own meal when we go on a date with a man. We are equal already.

    2. Yes Nwa Amaka OLOSHO, there is pay discrimination in the work place, sexual harassment in the work place, men are more likely to get promoted than women in the work place. @SDK, your readers are illiterates sha!!! Try and educate them a bit

    3. Anonymous 15:46 where do you work? Sexual harassment in the work place goes both ways...women also harass men sexually so say another one😞...in my opinion you are just one of these insecure women that refuse to accept their shortcomings. We'v seen and heard stories of women that succeed despite the gender "inequality". Success is not sexist work hard and it would pay off

      Delete
    3. So passing the gender equality bill would stop your husband from beating you...u better run out of the marriage if it's becoming unbearable instead of sitting there and waiting for gender equality bill

  26. Naija women are not serious about gender equality. Not when many/most of them engage in tearing down another hardworking, honest and focused woman who may not even have done anything directly to step on their toes but for the fact, that some man, somewhere is egging them on from his biased view. Yet, these "senile" women are apt to take on this fight as if it were theirs,in order, to curry certain gains from their area-father. Go figure.

If man complain that she's wasting time in the bathroom...gender issues arise immediately. If armed robber attack, na man get 9 lives wey suppose go die. If motor spoil, na man go be the suffer-head gender wey suppose sleep for sun & mechanic...ARRANT NONSENSE!!! If you want gender equality, it MUST be maintained in all spheres of life...if I dey fuel queue & see a creature come to play the gender card again eh, I just reserve my comment!
