Good day Mrs Stella and my fellow BVS,
I really don't know where this post should fall under ; either Ihn or as a stand alone post.
I saw the message on IHN concerning TTC women like me and I am so interested in the prayers including fasting.
Just yesterday, my sister in law called me and after exchanging pleasantries she was like 'How far na belle don enter?' I was shocked as I didn't expect that question so soon because I have only been married for three months. I know most people will think it just three months and am bothered... Well I have to be, firstly because I had a terrible dream concerning TTC on the night of my introduction, secondly because my husband and I work in different states and only meet when we are free, although I am planning to join him soon, and thirdly my sister in law's question keeps ringing in my ear making me more bothered.
So concerning the fasting and prayer suggestion, I suggest that it shouldn't just be a day but every other day for three days so that those that can't participate in a particular day because of one reason or the other can participate the other day, and also those that can for the three days will do so also. So I am suggesting Monday, Wednesday and Friday next week. We must carry our babies this year IJN. Thanks and God bless.

ReplyDeleteYOu will only ask that question if you weren't in their shoes. Not everyone wants to get married and wait a year before thinking of conceiving. Most people want to get married and get pregnant same month, give birth to all the children they want and rest.
What's the need resting a year when after a year you start trying to conceive and the kids finally come and then no private moments again. It's better you give birth to them and add them in your schedule so that it won't be so hard..
I was among those who kept saying when I marry I'll like to wait a year before giving birth until I got married and every month from the day I got married that my period comes, I will cry and cry. Infact on the 8 month I went to the hospital and the doctors Said they can only attend to me after a year. It was in the 12th month that I took in and boy was I all over the place with joy..
I pray that the good lord attends to all women ttc, you all will carry your bundle of joy soonest. This is your season. I also pray for my neighbor. God should please give her the fruit of the womb. I can't imagine how sad it is for her as we are 3 married tenants in the compound and then the land lady and we all have kids accept her. God, I feel so bad for her all the time. Lord please hear her cries. Let her take in this year please Lord.

Just last Sunday(mother's day), a teenager asked me" Are you a mother'? to say i was embarrassed is an understatement. i felt as if i was poured a very cold water. it spoiled my day till we finished the service. Dear Lord, please answer my prayer this year else, i will kill myself.

These days I wake up with renewed zeal to hold Him to His promises. Most of these seems to become theory when u undergo such trials but trust is what you need.

ReplyDeleteHummm. May God hear our prayers. Am ttc and it's not been easy I must say. 4years now. Meanwhile, the first year of my marriage, I was getting pregnant but having miscarriages. All of a sudden, the thing no even come again,make I even miscarry am...(I know this isn't right to say) and mosttimes, I crave for those days I wnt be able to sleep cos I was uncomfortable, the morning sicknesses and all. I seriously want those days.if not that I am a kind of person Wey get thick skin, I wld have jumped into the Lagoon since cos ple and colleagues are just popping babies left right center around me. As for me any day that is been agreed upon i shall be presence to join in the fasting i think i got pregnant two months after my wedding and lost it at 4months and this is the second month after that incident am still looking up to God to bless me again, he did it before and he can do it again there is no joy greater than having kids in your marriage and i know the God will serve will do it for us all.

People complain of mother in law yet it's my father in law that won't allow me to have peace. For years I've been praying & hoping. Am tired of the tears & pain & everything! What's the essence of living a clean abortion free good girl life & yet this? Father have mercy on me. Have mercy on me...let me carry my twins, vindicate your child so that every tongue that has mocked me & spoken lies about me be put to shame, remember me & my cousin who married a devil in priestly clothes & wants to send her to an untimely death with his actions. This year shall be our year. I must testify in front of the saints. Father I promise to be the best mother ever. Hear my prayers & take away this reproach.

Non shall be barren even your cattle, why would anyone be barren in this fruitful country or world. In the three months you have been married possibility is the times u meet with ur hubby u haven't ovulated or u ovulated before u both met since u don't live together yet. So its important that if you're TTC u meet ur spouse within the 4 days or thereabout window when u ovulate. Secondly note that most external lubricants are not conception friendly so if u use them be careful the ones u use. As for the dream u had on your introduction night, chances are it was a product of your fears and thoughts. Our God is merciful, may He grant us our heart desires in Jesus name
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of this prayer and fasting. In addition I think there should be some form of education too on conception. How to chart and temp, positions that help move the sperm faster into the cervix, how to calculate ovulation dates esp for those who have erratic and irregular periods. Faith without works is dead.

ReplyDeleteI can confirm preseed is very good especially for those that experience dryness during sex. The cervical fluid is very important for transporting the sperm to meet the egg. It's also good in preserving the sperm in case the egg is there when the sperm gets there, the sperm can chill comfortably while waiting lol, or else it dies quick in a dry environment.

I got married as a virgin ( not judging other people)last year august, my church wedding was in November. Been ttc #tears# been on bromocripyine since January. This is my month, I believe God.

ReplyDeleteI and my sister who got married bfor me av been ttc.Its frustrating,shaameful and embarrasing!We can no longer travel home freely for fear of steers and mockery.You see oda girls gettin preggers effortlessly all the time and I wonder y God has created me dis way.I and my hubby have almost gone bankrupt bcos of expensive hospital procedure that doesn't. Yield result..Well,this year we av decided not to spend a penny takin injections and medicatns but to look only on God and i bliv he wil not dissapoint us bcos he is a covenant keepin God.Attimes i feel like deletin all my social media handles in oda to avoid questions and monitorin. For the past 3yrs since i got married i av been prayin,fasting,sacrificing and crying to God.I feel pity for our mother cos i can amagine what she is going thru.My. Pariod is suppose to come since last week Wednesday buh it hasn't thou am not excited cos i av irregular circle.I find peace in Gods word which says NON SHALL BE BARREN!I bless God evryday for blessin me with a lovin,caring,Godly and supportive husband.I and my sister shall carry our children dis year in jesus Name.GOD IS ABLE!

ReplyDeletei have been trying to conceive for almost a year now but it has not happened and i believe in God's word that there shall not be barren in the land. i know this year i shall carry my baby. i will participate in the prayers and fasting. God bless you stella for this platform.

ReplyDeleteI just want to share this testimony to encourage someone. A friend put to bed today, after 12 years of marriage and numerous failed ivf procedures.
ReplyDeleteGod showed up in a big way. She got pregnant without any medical assistance. She hardly sees her period, maybe just twice a year or so. So for the first time in her life she conceived by the power of God.
God is God, He doesn't disappoint.
Ammmeeennnn and I use her case as a point of contact for all of us. No medical interventions anymore in Jesus mighty name.
