Port Harcourt Residents Are Running...

Port-Harcourt airport departure hall this morning is jam packed like Sardine, despite the heavy early morning downpour....

The Motor parks appear busier than usual and roads leading out of Port harcourt is also allegedly very busy......According to the eye witness reporter ''People dey Usain Bolt for their lives ooh ...''

Can we have situation report from blog visitors who live in Port harcourt?

    3. The tension is crazy, I chop liver this morning and drove to aba road to pick a parcel because i dont know what state we will be in after the real show starts.
Garrison yesterday was a battle field at about 4pm, gunshots and everyone scampering for a hiding place. Even with the rain this mrng, too many people on the road for a day that was declared a public holiday so I dont doubt this report of people skipping town.

  18. But seriously Amaechi and Wike are the problem, Very bad. It's time PMB step in to avoid another Niger delta crises. I love Amaechi but he need to face his ministerial post, allow Rivers state to be governed, he failed them in some of his actions. I know Wike is no good for the state either, he act like a motor park tout, i saw video of him threatening opposition voters days ago.
Amaechi was a smart governor but was too released during last election campaign reason PDP surprised him with their winning. Reading amaechi's action at a radio station yesterday got me more disappointed in him. One of them need to chill for peace to come to Rivers state and that person should be Amaechi.

  29. Don't be afraid of Rivers state ooo. From my area (Ada George/ Agip), everything seems fine. Thursday and Friday was declared public holiday, though we didn't know on time, it was still observed. A lot of ad-hoc staff were trained, youth Corp members inclusive. Remembering the youth corper that was killed years ago, I pray no harm comes to them.
I've asked like 8-10 people if they were going to cast their votes, they all replied no, cause the voting unit will be a war zone between Wike and Amaechi. Also, the feelers I got from Ikwerre people I always come in contact with is that Amaechi had sold his soul to the devil, and he cannot carry the state with him. They intend to do everything possible for the state to remain a PDP state. Secondly, out of most of them are members of PDP. Only two are APC. As for me, I no go vote too ooo. I'm indoors. No leave no transfer, waiting to ask after the elections in Stella's voice, "Amaechi, anya torchlight, how market"?

  30. Am based in Phc. Well people have every right to be scared but I can assure you that there is calm. Nigerians take advantage of every situation to exploit people. Price of food stuff rite now is astronomical. Police men and soldiers are all over the place constituting a nuisance. Am sure the people traveling are taking advantage of the long weekend. We are here. No shaking, just don't keep late night this period

  34. Hmmmm..... No be small race ooo. The election scheduled for tomorrow may turn out to be something else, so people have to run for their lives. The rivalry between Wike and Amaechi is very strong and serious. Come tomorrow, na my house i go dey jeje from morning till night. Won't even go out on Sunday either, before what happened in 1980 will repeat itself. This one Wike is already threatening Amaechi. #Godpleaseprotectiandmyfamilymembers

A state filled eith such proud, arrogant people who think they have the right to take a life.
May God judge all the killers in that state, it will never know peace.
