There's a New Obalufe!!!
Guided by the laws of the State of Osun and in line with the customs and traditions of Ile-Ife and having widely consulted with the government,
kingmakers and other relevant stakeholders, His Imperial Majesty Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi (Ojaja II) this morning appointed Comrade Idowu Olaniyi Adediwura from Ajagbusi Royal House of Orunto as the new Obalufe of Ife Kingdom to replace late Oba Folorunso Omisakin who died in October 2015.
Born in 1967 to the family of Pa Afred Tijuara and Mrs Tayelolu Mariani Adediwura, the Obalufe designate expected to be the Ooni's deputy is a trade unionist and labour leader in the maritime sector, a member of Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria and has remained the Tin Can Island Container Terminal unit chairman from 1992 till date.
He attended All Saints Primary School, Ilode, Ile-Ife, Oronna High School, Ilaro Ogun State and Pen Foster Career School in Canada.
He is married to Mrs Olusola Adediwura and blessed with children.
Comrade Moses Olafare,
Director of Media and Public Affairs,
Ooni's Palace.

ReplyDeleteGood for him
ReplyDeleteWho is the Abobaku?
ReplyDeleteI really don't get the point you're trying to make @ pffft. How is it the Ooni's business or fault if Linda Ikeji chooses to post a press statement issued from his palace?, and are you assuming that the press statement was sent to LIB and other blogs?
DeleteThe blogs certainly have their way of sourcing for news
I'm going to say enough is enough.
ReplyDeleteI know the Ooni is young but please don't allow people make a travesty of your kingship and all that relates to it.
Since when did blogs become official media outlets to generate information about every mosquito that flies by day or night.
What is the meaning of all this?
Since the oonis people are all over the blogs, perhaps they might want to use their time and address the alleged hoeship of his supposed future queen?
This just looks like some people are over excited at being newly introduced to the Internet.
Hard pill to take in but I'm with u on this.
DeleteI'm outta here
With his strong "yorubatic" face.

ReplyDeleteThe ooni seems to think his throne is a national one. This gist has no business being on a blog. This is strictly IFE business. .. be comparing yourself with the Queen of England.
ReplyDeleteThis man courts publicity like a fame whore when he has numerous skeletons in his cupboard. Someone needs to talk to him. Tone it down for real
